Honestly, guys, we're running out of cooks at this rate. But it's nice to gather after horrifying events, and so while Rosalind's cooking skills are absolutely terrible, her alcohol-pouring skills are a little better. Nishitani, Kizakura, and Mahiro were also there at the time. I overheard them talking, but didn't good look at what their bubbles say.

But the fact this water spirit even brought up powers, I wonder if they were trying to hint a way to get them back?

Perhaps. We know the Teishu hardly likes the Sage; perhaps the same is true of this spirit. And if that's true, it makes sense it would be nothing more than a hint: the Sage certainly doesn't want that.

Be nice if they spent more of their limited time getting the hint out. All I could think of what they mean by stop is 'stop killing'.

Little chance of that, I'm afraid. Although . . . given Mako's execution, I wonder. It was a death, yes, but there was no feeding him to the corruption, not this time. I wonder if it made a difference.

I would have thought they would have tried to stop Mahiro... but yet, Teishu allowed it.
