Honestly, guys, we're running out of cooks at this rate. But it's nice to gather after horrifying events, and so while Rosalind's cooking skills are absolutely terrible, her alcohol-pouring skills are a little better. Come have a glass of wine or three and ruminate on the fact that there's only fourteen of us left.]

Seems like a better way to spend time then stewing about how people died this week just like they died every other week. [There's a novelty in this compared to the sad "parties" they've had every week if nothing else.]

[He lightly tosses an unlit firework up and down in his hand. It's not as if he doesn't get what she's saying - in fact, that's pretty much been his own thoughts on every other week. Still, the reason why he's doing this in the first place is because of Jin's letter to him and the possibility that the dead might still be around, even if it made no sense.

But still. It's irrational to get offended, isn't it...?

[Just hands over the pack of matches and one of the fireworks without giving her any instructions or warnings because he is Responsible, clearly. He will be stepping away from her as soon as she lights the thing, unless she has anything to ask him.]

[Let's just be glad he didn't give her multiple fireworks at once...

But she simply copies what she saw him do earlier. She strikes a match (which admittedly takes her a second since she's never used matches like these before), lights the firework, and tosses it away. Although it's more away and into the air rather than a safe distance away on the ground, but it won't kill them.

It's definitely closer than what's safe, but she doesn't bother moving. The flashes of purple are really something to look at.]

Probably a lot. Fireworks have been around for awhile where I'm from, and I'm pretty sure trial and error wasn't a great way to find out how these things worked.

[Never mind that she might easily make that happen here herself... But she tosses the firework an appropriate distnce away this time, not too close to the grass either, and watches it flash blue.]

[Mahiro follows up her firework with his own blue one. Honestly, even the size of the explosions are relatively inconsistent since they're ridiculously crude, so this one's a bit smaller and quieter.]

I'm not arguing against that. Dying from this just seems extra dumb.

[Being murdered makes more sense to her than accidentally dying like this at least. While she's noticed the inconsistencies of the fireworks, it's not like she knows better when this is the first time she's ever seen them.]

We made them with the shit in the lab. Got some help from others for the colors and how to mix them properly too.

Like she totally did also try to murder someone for very little reason a couple weeks ago. Then again if someone dies and there's a bunch of explosions found nearby he guesses it'd be pretty easy to track her down?? Even though he's pretty sure he'd take the heat for handing them over to begin with...

And that's not even putting aside the fact that Jin and Miyamura helped make these so.]

If I feel like it. I don't exactly plan on making them every week.

Besides, I'd rather get something that can actually be shot up. These things are supposed explode up in the air, not on the ground like this.
