Ultimately what happens from here is entirely in your hands, but for the first time in eight weeks everyone is alive and whole again (even that pesky merman). There is that corruption you should deal with, but surely you know what to do about that.

Once you've settled and wound down a bit, maybe you should relax a bit before going your separate ways. You've earned it.

Actually, I was just about to end my time as "Hiyono" right before I was brought here. It's quite rude of them, dragging my job out another two months.

Considering it was an extra two months of work, you did a phenomenal job. It's good to get the chance to speak directly with you again.

First I'll need to catch a train to meet with Ayumu one last time, and then I'll be out of the country and flying elsewhere for another few years... This was very inconvenient timing!

But... I'm glad we got to meet again, truly. I've wanted to thank you for the hard work, but during the middle of it all, I couldn't exactly drop my role.

That's understandable. I'm glad to have the opportunity to thank you for yours, as well - I believe this all would have turned out very differently if you were not here.

Each and every thing that happened is what led us to this point, and it would not have been possible without the precise group of people that was gathered here.

Hiyono-chan was designed to be "a good and obedient girl who supports and trusts Ayumu, no matter what."

Since Ayumu decided to try to survive without bloodshed, we decided that the best course of action would be to try to unite everyone instead.

It seems to have worked out more or less the way you wanted it to.

It helped that I had a little bit more freedom here.

To be fair, most of my jobs don't have a guarantee of people I've come to know killing each other week after week.

I certainly cannot blame you for that. I'm looking forward to only having men and demons to contend with when I return home - I know how to handle them.

I find it easier than working with humans, to be quite honest. But people tend to have an easier time working with their own kind.

In my line of work, yes. It is. [She smiles faintly.] Other demons tend to live in seclusion, when they can, but... my clan has rather close ties to the Imperial Court.

I'm not affiliated with any particular organization... Your resources must really be something.

My clan has had many generations to build it up. [She smiles.] There is very little that occurs in the country that I don't hear about.

That does seem to be the case - but judging by your actions here, I would say that you do a phenomenal job gathering information wherever you end up.
