All's well that ends well

[ So you've wished the dead back to life, but there's still 2 wishes you have to make. Ultimately what happens from here is entirely in your hands, but for the first time in eight weeks everyone is alive and whole again (even that pesky merman). There is that corruption you should deal with, but surely you know what to do about that.

Once you've settled and wound down a bit, maybe you should relax a bit before going your separate ways. You've earned it.

How did you find each other at first?

He was the one who found me. In terms of timeline... he is the "original". It was his decision to kill our master, take his time ring, and begin enacting our plan. Of course he realized it would be better to do so with a partner, and so he went to the future, another timeline in its own right to free me.

I had never before gotten the opportunity to kill my master before, he was the one who did it twice: to his original one, and then to mine. It was very pleasant.

[ Fond memories of killing the Sage. ]

We killed our murderers. Or, well: we facilitated events to ensure they both died gory deaths. One was shot; the other was beaten to death.

[Fond memories indeed.]

And then after that?

I almost regret that we choose the same method three times over, perhaps for our fourth we will make a different choice.

[ Man is this is a weird thing to bond over but he sounds happy about it. ]

We obliterated 99% of the human race in my timeline, including the Gods who opposed us as well. There were only a handful of humans left, but Black was more content to let them be his play things, his body reacts to conflict by growing stronger, you see.

Our ideal world would have been achieved if Son Goku had not traveled across time streams to stop us. He was able to seal me, and that is eventually how I wound up on this forsaken world.

Robert and I found each other when we were seventeen. We figured out a method of communicating and spent the next seven years doing anything and everything we had to in order to reach each other.

How did there come to be two of you? I did not think that was possible for normal humans without extensive meddling.

Mm, it isn't. We're from different universes-- really, the only difference between those worlds is us. Robert and Rosalind . . . just one chromosome of difference.

I told you I did terrible things to ensure he was at my side. Most of those things were on the orders of a man who gave me money to fund my research. Eventually, I had enough money to build a machine to tear a hole between worlds. I pulled Robert through, and though he suffered physical side-effects, he survived the process.

Hm, I see. I too, would do anything for the other me, and I have in many cases. If I was to check other parallel timestreams there might be more of me but... I would want to find Black, first.
