All's well that ends well
[ So you've wished the dead back to life, but there's still 2 wishes you have to make. Ultimately what happens from here is entirely in your hands, but for the first time in eight weeks everyone is alive and whole again (even that pesky merman). There is that corruption you should deal with, but surely you know what to do about that.

Just don't go letting them kill you, alright? Death makes for a poor apology.... and you deserve a second chance, given what you've been through. You lost your way, but you can still do more with your life, Masumi-san.

[ ...Ayumu saying that pretty much is going to prevent him from allowing that, but if someone hadn't told him to not let someone kill him, he would have just likely allowed it. ]

Good. Living with it might not be easy, but if you want to atone, do it through your life, not your death.
[And really.... if he could get a second chance, Ayumu wanted him to take it. No one was irredeemable, and Masumi had clearly learned from his mistakes.
His smile grows a little sad at that, though.]

[He looks a little embarrassed for a moment.]

[He did deserve to be happy. In Ayumu's opinion, everyone had a right to reach for happiness, regardless of their past mistakes.... and Masumi, for all he'd done, seemed to have a very gentle soul sans the corruption.]

Well. Ayumu's stiff with surprise for a moment before carefully, awkwardly returning the hug with a small smile. He's clearly unused to this sort of thing still... not that it would surprise Masumi any.]

..So this is what it feels like to give someone a hug.
[ Masumi then closes his eyes with a smile; as long as Ayumu's returning the hug willingly then he'll consider it a success! ]

Of course, this would be a little weird for Masumi, too. Ayumu relaxes into the hug a little, somehow reassured by that fact. He doesn't have to worry so much about doing it 'properly' or anything. Ayumu's smile grows a little more easy at Masumi's laugh.]
