[ So you've wished the dead back to life, but there's still 2 wishes you have to make. Ultimately what happens from here is entirely in your hands, but for the first time in eight weeks everyone is alive and whole again (even that pesky merman). There is that corruption you should deal with, but surely you know what to do about that.

Once you've settled and wound down a bit, maybe you should relax a bit before going your separate ways. You've earned it.

It's... our world is far from perfect. But I can at least promise you won't be lonely anymore. I won't speak for Machias, but I'll stay by your side. ...And my sister will be happy to have another person to dote on, too, I'm sure.

I wouldn't mind. I've never been to another world and here -- there's nothing here for me. So, there's really no reason for me to stay or anything like that.

This isn't me forgiving you for all you've done. ...if I'm going to be completely honest with you - and if we're about to be housemates, I better be - I don't know that I can.

But... if you're serious about atoning, and I believe you are... then maybe, someday. That's the most I can promise you.

[They do both have other things to do, though, so he's not gonna drag this out for much longer unless Masumi has more he wants to say.]

Well. We... both probably have some things we should take care of, huh? ...I'll probably be ready before you are, but I can wait here for you. Even if it makes Machias mad. [Because, let's be real, he's used to that.] So... when you're ready, let me know.

[He offers a tiny smile.]

...You're gonna have a whole lot to learn when we get home. So make sure you're ready.

I'm glad you aren't. It'd feel strange if anyone would forgive me so easily after everything.

[ Masumi's still unable to forgive himself, honestly. So, it's a strange relief to hear everyone's not going to let him off so easily, regardless of the circumstances. ]

Even if you don't ever feel that way towards me, it'd be fine, and kind of fitting, I think. It really was a lot I put all of you through.

[ He'll nod at the question, though. ]
