Beginning
One moment you were elsewhere, surely speaking to your friends, fighting in a battle of your life, dying, or even in a state of non-existence in its entirety. It doesn't matter now, since when you open your eyes it’s become clear that not only is everything around you foreign and unfamiliar, so is everyone. And there seems to be a fair lot of you, at that.
It's easy to discern a few things upon a cursory glance, once you pick yourself up from the field of grass you're resting on. The place you've awoken in seems to be fairly tranquil, for the first few moments at least, and the view of a newly budded sakura tree is among the first that will greet you. In the distance, is a towering castle that manages to look all at once both imposing and welcoming at the same time. There's also an odd pendant around your neck, which you'll find won't come off despite your best attempts. In your pocket you'll find a room key, engraved with a number.
The weather is currently cool, with the sun brightly shining in the sky, though there are a few too many clouds to make it a completely clear day. While most of them appear rather normal, every so often you might spot one that looks just a bit off— like a storm cloud that's completely lost it's way. Lucky for you, it doesn't seem like you're going to have to worry about any inclement weather anytime soon, as they'll vanish from your vision as quickly as they came.
A large stone wall surrounds the entirety of the castle, though it's anyone guess why that is— maybe it's for your safety, maybe it's to keep you trapped, or maybe it's for another reason entirely. The only breach in the wall is a single gate that looks like it certainly led to the outside at one point, but that too has been cordoned off by solid stone.
Fortunately, there's nothing to stop you from entering the castle itself, where you'll find it's pretty grand all things considered. The lighting inside is provided not by electricity, but by magical flame that adjusts to the time of day or night. Actually, if you're looking for anything electronic anywhere, or even a simple power outlet, you'll be sorely out of luck.
For now, it might be best to explore and make some sense of where you are and why you're here— maybe one of your fellow travelers might know something? There are some plaques in the Great Hall that might catch your interest given their focus, in addition to one ridiculously large golden one that seems to bear rules.
Welcome, fellow warriors, to your very long stay.

At least Eizen is a pretty straightforward fighter, going with punches and blocking when he can-- which is why he tries to throw another punch with his left fist.
Being crafty isn't quite his thing. He prefers strength above that. Doesn't mean he can't dodge, he'd just prefer not to.
After all, he's not just here to win, he's also here to get to know the guy and his personality through his fists.]

This time Nishitani stays in Eizen's range and takes the punch, bracing for it. He wants to know your strength too, buddy. And fighting's no fun if you don't get hurt. Yes, somehow when Eizen's fist connects Nishitani smiles wider. ]
Yer a real nice guy, ain'tcha?
[ Better look out though, because Nishitani ducks down to almost, uh, the best way I can describe it is he leans back on his hands and does a break-dance kick at Eizen's legs. That's how he rolls? ]

If I could use my powers, I'd have other tricks up my sleeve. But since I don't, this will have to do for now.
[He doesn't seem sad he doesn't have his powers. Most of it involves shaking the ground and using binding chains, but oh well. He'll manage! At least he can try to work around things now as he's getting more of an analysis of this guy.
He'll wait for the guy to make the next move again-- see what other things he can do so Eizen can counter. If he doesn't make a move, Eizen will move in for another punch. It will be quickly learned that he fights solely with his fists and nothing more.]

[ I mean Heat Moves are somewhat arguably powers, but you can bet he'd look way more intimidating if he was giving off a pink aura and could flash step around you. (Yakuza games, ok....) But if Eizen is giving him the opening, then Nishitani will just taunt him right back because that's just how he fights. Mind you, there'd be a lot more dance-fighting if he had a knife on him, though.
Once Eizen strikes, Nishitani brings his arms up to block him and try another kick, this one just aiming to get him off-balance. You have to be quick on your fight to fight a guy like him, so he's testing Eizen as much as the other way around. ]

Okay, good, so that's that's the game he plays-- just like Eizen plays the straightforward 1-2-punch with lot of strength and some strategy.]
I have to admit, you're a pretty good opponent. It's been a while since I've been challenged like this.

If I had my knife, we'd be goin' a lot fuckin' faster than this, I tell ya what.
[ Nishitani laughs. He's having fun. Of course, he still throws a punch at Eizen again, this time baiting a counterattack. ]
Ya ain't bad yerself, Eizen-kun! I'm havin' a fuckin' blast.

[And he'd be fighting dirty, too, if he had his powers, so it's honestly all good. Getting a feel for each other is probably... maybe... the whole point, but heh. If someone has to play dirty to win, so be it. Moral codes are dumb and all that.
Well, if he's baiting a counter, he gets it as Eizen dodges this time, then throwing a hook.]
Though I'm glad to hear you're still having fun.
