Several hours have come and gone, and though you might be less confused than you were when you first arrived, there are still so many unanswered questions. Not to mention you haven't seen or heard from the person (or is it persons?) in charge. Such a thing must be quite frustrating by now, no?
Well, it looks like that might change soon.
At some point, everyone will feel nudged by a mysterious force that seems to pull on their desire to make their way toward the Outer Courtyard. Though your movements are your own, and no one is forced to act against their will, the idea to gather there is firmly set in everyone's mind. Should anyone tarry, an azure-colored minion will gently poke and prod you toward your apparent destination in an aggressively friendly manner.
Once everyone has gathered into the Courtyard, you'll be met with what seems to be... a whole lot of nothing. Nothing different from the usual that is, which while still scenic, is nothing short of a major letdown. But suddenly something shifts, you might feel a pull on the pendant against your chest, and your eyes close for just a moment— was it just a strong breeze perhaps? When you open your eyes again, things certainly don't look any different, but--
Wait, were there always this many of you? Looks like there's two extra people among you now.
One of them is of average height cloaked in white robes, pale-colored skin, with a hood obscuring the top half of his face, his eyes hidden well from sight. His hair seems to be somehow obscured as well, not even a glimpse of it's color visible. The young man (he might pass for a teenager, but he also doesn't look as young as some of the kids here either) is standing straight, albeit with a relaxed sort of air about him. His lips are also curled slightly upwards in an almost-smile, but altogether with his hooded appearance, assist in giving him an unreadable expression.
The other is taller, and though his face is also partially obscured by the hood drawn over his face, you can make out enough of his basic features. His hair rests just above his shoulders, pin-straight, and oddly a peculiar shade of white— or perhaps it's better to call it pearl, as it seems light pink in certain light. What might be more striking are his eyes, which are a cool shade of lilac, though there's a certain hardness to them. Whoever he is, he certainly doesn't seem to care about a proper fashion sense any, the two hanging earrings he's wearing in unmatched blue and green, a testament to that apparent fact. Unlike his partner he seems to be a bit older, around his mid-twenties, though it might just be his expression that lends to that assumption. All things considered, his expression is rather neutral, as he waits for the other man to speak.
The shorter of the two gives a quizzical smile, and when he speaks, his tone sounds simultaneously wistful and gentle at the same time.
"Welcome, my warriors, I am the Sage, and you may call my partner, the Teishu. I am quite glad to know and see that your travel here was a safe one. Come now, my friends, might you wish to partake in some tea?"
"At the moment, we only have black."
A pause. "Oh, and if you have any questions, I suppose we'll try to answer those too."
( OOC: sage=black, teishu=purple; feel free to try to talk to one of them specifically or both of them, threadjacking is fine! Rule #2 is in effect, so we would not encourage fisticuffs without permission. )
