Everyone's on edge. There's really no reason not to be; in the midst of the expectations that rest on the survivor's shoulders, information that's been recently obtained has shed more light on the situation. Some of you, who are amongst those survivors, hope to use that information for the challenge everyone must meet head on today.
It can be considered a gesture of kindness (or perhaps pragmatism) that The Sage doesn't beckon anyone until it is further in the morning. As per the usual, The Sage's carried across the pendants as he spoke to everyone.
"Come, my warriors, to the door that once barred you from entry. I expect you all know how to find a way within. I will see all of you soon."
The Sage's voice dissipates, leaving no time for inquiry and there's no sense in protesting in following his words, considering the state of things. It's time for action and everyone of you would want to make sure you'd show up--entirely independent of the reasons The Sage would wish for you all to do so of course.
When the door is opened with the key Ayumu has on him, everyone is able to easily enter into the new room.
The room is dim and rather cold, with a certain feeling in the air that makes your hair stand on end. You'll definitely need a light source, as the windows are rather high up, and covered mostly by darkened curtains. While there's no light switch, there are 5 large candles scatted around the perimeter of the room that when lit have 5 distinct color flames:
Green, red, white, black, and blue. If one took a line to connect each candle, they'd notice it seems to form a pentagon in shape.
To the far back of the room, there's a large archway that looks like a gateway of sorts, a portal.
On the floor, in the center of the room, is a large faded rune pattern. It appears as if no one is here, but the absence of The Master Sage lasts only for a very brief moment. In a sudden flash of light, that's almost blinding, The Sage makes his appearance right over the rune pattern.
This time, his hood is missing, revealing peach-colored short hair, and golden eyes. He looks rather young, but that is because he is young - certainly moreso than a few of you gathered here. Finally, he smiles, but the light doesn't reach his eyes.
"My warriors, it's good of you to finally arrive. Though, it's not like I would doubt you can really do much else. After all, you answered my call today and so shall you do so now once more.
For each and every single one of you there is a place to stand. You may take whichever one you may choose, and then after that, you don't have to worry about what comes next. Why would you? The kind of position you're all in wouldn't really permit you to do anything about this situation. Of course, you can entertain the foolish idea that you have some enough power to try to oppose me...but I highly recommend that you don't waste your time on futile, idiotic struggles.
Now, without further ado..."
The Sage's smile has grown wider, more sharper and quite maddening - it is also quite fitting for someone who would have a cunning nature.
"Shall we began the ceremony?"
(( Just a reminder that it'd be very unwise to attack The Sage, as rule 2 is still in effect! He can and will retaliate without mercy, and if you'd like your character to live, it'd be best you'd avoid that. ))
