With the loss of two more warriors, the castle has grown even quieter still. Such a thing was always bound to become a consequence of your stay here, though the actual reality of it may be more unpleasant. There's been little in the way of parties, which isn't too much of a surprise given your dwindling numbers, but it's still better than nothing, correct?
As with every other week, new locations have been unveiled for you all to either explore or use to casually gather within. If you've been keeping an eye on the cherry blossoms, you'll note that they look just about ready to bloom. The important thing is, of course, that they haven't. But it's only a matter of time, now.

[ Well, it's a new week which means new rooms to explore! Nishitani isn't quite looking too closely or anything, but he sure is up here on the third floor, having a look at one of the new rooms.
The meditation room may not quite seem his style, but Nishitani can pull it off if he tries. It's not as "homey" as a jail cell would be, but he sits down on one of the pillows, crosses his feet and closes his eyes, meditating. Bet you never thought you'd see that, huh? ]

Ah, Fire-chan! Ya been lonely lately, huh?
[ When was the last time anyone came to say hi to Fire-chan, that wasn't someone trying to dump evidence? Nishitani wouldn't know for sure, but he's here with some of the junk he's accumulated over the course of several weeks. A bow tie, an empty diary, some floaties, even the random friendship bracelet... Mostly the stuff that's been piling up and he knows he's never gonna use. He already has a best friend, after all. ]

[Ayumu had been quite happy to see both of the new rooms on the third floor-- the tea in the meditation room was nice, but once he's made himself a cup of that he'll make his way to the solar, where he's particularly pleased by all of it's windows. The sun felt nice, and so he takes his time to examine what he can of the room, especially the astrolabe.
Eventually he foregoes the chairs entirely and simply flops on the ground in the middle of a patch of sunlight, sprawling on his back and relaxing. What do you mean the meditation room is for that? Nah. He's not sleeping for sure, but the sun feels great so he'll linger for a little while at least.]

[There's a kind of glum expression Misora's face as she's cooking herself breakfast. In past weeks, she would've at least bothered to pull herself together more, but with so few of them left and even fewer people she feels obliged to pretend that things are okay for, she has more or less stopped caring about the fact that she's just radiating gloom everywhere. But hey, despite all that, she still has to eat. And so does everyone else in the room of kids.
And if only because physically doing something like making breakfast for Ayumu, Elliot and Hiyono keeps her distracted from thoughts like, I wish I could talk to Jansen, Mako and Rhoda again, that's what she'll be doing on this fine Sunday morning. So far, it looks like she's got some blueberry pancakes and fruit salad going.]

He's trying as hard as he can to keep his mind from wandering anywhere unpleasant as he looks out, but from the way he occasionally fidgets or bites at his bottom lip, it's clear that's not working out so well for him.

[ The Sage's words, as always, beckon all to the Great Hall.
Once they arrive, and settle down, they are entreated to a white flash. Following that, images of everyone's homes fade into view, but only for a brief moment. Then it fades, leaving all witness to green letters that begin to form together in mid-air to spell out one, complete word. ]
There are more than a few of you that are doubtlessly eager to return home; you know this, and of course so do we.
I also imagine that some of you have decided that you enjoy the little bonds you have coveted with each other. You may also foolishly believe that you're going to put a halt to all of this as it is.
[ There is a moment where The Sage's voice changes into a very evident frigid tone. ]

TUESDAY MEETING WOO
Has anyone found anything new in the past week? And also, I know many of us have been speaking with Sage-san and Teishu-san. We should pool what we know and decide on what else to speak with them about.
As for me... I've gotten conflicting reports from them. Teishu-san thinks Sage-san is interested in immortality, but Sage-san insisted that he's too young to worry about such things. He's younger than thirty years old... is what he told me, anyway. Obviously, since there's a contradiction, one side must be lying whether they realize it or not.
Teishu-san also told me that not all gods are immortal. Apparently he's special, although he wouldn't tell me the secrets to immortality. [WHICH IS RUDE, BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY SHE WOULD NEVER USE THIS KNOWLEDGE FOR NEFARIOUS PURPOSES OR ANYTHING.]
I don't think I need to remind anyone that there's more going on here than we know... Let's hurry and try to beat them at their own game.

[ What's up on Wednesday...? Well, not much, evidently, and that's just fine by Nishitani. It's been a slow week and that sakura tree's only getting bloom-ier. It's too late to investigate and too late to stop the storm that's no doubt coming, so what's a guy to do?
Camp out outside the door to the archives, using that bear trap he got last week. Christ almighty, Nishitani, that's so dangerous. Someone seriously need to stop him. ]

[ Nishitani may have gotten his beloved tantou back but that doesn't mean he isn't still bored. Bored enough, in fact, to pick up one of the many bows and quivers contained within. He can't fire a shot to save his life, of course, but he sure is going to cause a mess in here. He aims a flimsy shot at some of the shields on the rack, but mostly he's getting nicks on the wall and on the floor. Points for effort, maybe? ]

Intrusion cw decapitation
So while it might be a little strange that a certain brown-haired individual seems to be missing Thursday, it's probably not a cause for concern. As you all saw last night and a few trials ago, he can be quite the free spirit.
Eventually, the brunette makes his reappearance, making his way into The Great Hall from the upstairs floors. He takes a curious glance around before he makes quick, hurried steps, looking resolute if not a bit rushed. However Mahiro doesn't get very far, before that tell tale gust of wind rushes through the Great Hall , prompting him to raise a hand to shield his eyes.
Once it clears, there stands a certain white-cloaked male, and in his right hand is a long, curved blade, an ebony black katana. ]
What a pity, Mahiro. I'd hope you would know better than to tresspass into a room where you don't belong.
[ Following those words, The Sage steps forward, clutching the blade tightly as he makes to advance. One slash catches Mahiro horizontally across the chest, the next successful hit a stab through his abdomen, and the last ends with a clean decapitation. The attacks are clearly augmented by something, as the Sage's attacks seem effortless despite the damage they inflict.
Slowly, The Sage turns to fix any currently spectating warriors a smile, his expression clearly misamatched given the situation. ]
Hopefully the rest of you will endeavor to hold onto your lives instead of just wasting them like a couple of fools. You all still want to return home don't you? Sometimes it's hard to tell with all the useless chatter and actions you seem insistent on.
[ With that unsettling smile, The Sage vanishes into a blinding flash of light, leaving not even Mahiro's body behind. At the very least there is no cleanup to be had, even if its obvious that Mahiro Fuwa is dead. ]

Ayumu, contrary to the sass they threw at each other, actually really liked Mahiro... They'd had an understanding. Because of that, once the shock has worn off, he's going to be going to the rooms of the upper floors, taking a very cautious look around. He's angry, honestly, though he isn't going to show it.

[ Well that sure fucking happened. Nishitani's got half a mind to stomp back into Miyamura's room and drag his knife up Kizakura's slimy throat but even getting himself killed by the Teishu doesn't sound fun at the moment. He's frustrated. He's been frustrated since he got here, being tugged along by the Sage and even the Teishu's invisible strings.
He'd gotten his life back. He owed them. But the shit they'd put him through and the shit people got away with was enough to make him wish he could just cut loose and kill every other person here. It would be so easy for a guy like him. A criminal. A murderer. Staying idle this long goes against his nature and he knows it.

[So. That had happened.
That had happened, and frankly Rosalind feels sick about it. She'd liked Mahiro. She'd liked him quite a bit, and to have him die for something even more pointless than these farces of a trial is just . . .
She's tired, she supposes. Each time someone dies it feels like another little weight added to the center of her chest, leaving her feeling exhausted and heavy.
She'd gone up towards the solar room for most of the day, not wanting to speak to anyone. Stupid, maybe, to do so on a Thursday, but it's not as if she's doing it at night. Rosalind lingers there for hours, curled up with a few books she'd brought from the library, determined to distract herself from the fact that not only are people she'd been fond of dying, but that she'd grown attached to them in the first place. That had been stupid of her. She ought to have steeled herself off from everyone, but it's too late for regrets.
She doesn't come down until evening, but the scent hits her the second she steps into the bedroom wing. She's more familiar with it now than she cares to be, and the closer she steps to their room, the stronger it gets. And she knows, she knows what she's going to find when she opens the door, and yet--
There's no corpse. Nishitani isn't there, and Majima isn't in a frothing rage or wallowing in despair, so clearly he's alive, and Majima is all cut up, and their room is bloody.]
