week 7
Week 7
Sunday - Thursday
With the loss of two more warriors, the castle has grown even quieter still. Such a thing was always bound to become a consequence of your stay here, though the actual reality of it may be more unpleasant. There's been little in the way of parties, which isn't too much of a surprise given your dwindling numbers, but it's still better than nothing, correct?
As with every other week, new locations have been unveiled for you all to either explore or use to casually gather within. If you've been keeping an eye on the cherry blossoms, you'll note that they look just about ready to bloom. The important thing is, of course, that they haven't. But it's only a matter of time, now.

[There's nothing unfriendly in her gaze, but it is firm.]
Lie back. You just faced a knife; a little bit of healing shan't hurt you.

[And, by extension, she does, but that's neither here nor there. And while her tone is brisk and her expression unimpressed, her hands are fairly gentle as they begin their work.]
And I do know that, actually. Or have you forgotten: first aid is one of my skills.

I couldn't -- I couldn't do ya like that.

No?
[It isn't daring. Her tone has softened.]
It would be faster. And kinder, I think, if you truly believe we're all fated to die here.
no subject
It would be, but...we gotta keep livin'.

[Her expression loosens. Relaxes might be applicable in another scenario, but frankly, she's the farthest thing from relaxed. But she's pleased to have gotten that answer from him, and her hand slips up, pushing through his hair in something sweet.]

Lived a long damn time ta stop now.

[She settles a little, her fingers settling into an easy rhythm.]
I'm content to stay at thirty-eight forever, but a milestone like that ought to be celebrated.

Ten whole years between us . . . what will people say. Poor Rosie Lutece, led astray from the path of virtue by two men ten years her elder, I can see it now, Hiyono's next story--
