Sunday - Thursday

With the loss of two more warriors, the castle has grown even quieter still. Such a thing was always bound to become a consequence of your stay here, though the actual reality of it may be more unpleasant. There's been little in the way of parties, which isn't too much of a surprise given your dwindling numbers, but it's still better than nothing, correct?

As with every other week, new locations have been unveiled for you all to either explore or use to casually gather within. If you've been keeping an eye on the cherry blossoms, you'll note that they look just about ready to bloom. The important thing is, of course, that they haven't. But it's only a matter of time, now.

Do we know for sure how many times Senhime met with the Sage in person? If there were only two direct encounters...it could also be a reference to that.

I'm not entirely certain. There's obviously a parallel being drawn between the Sage and the friend in the story.

We were talking about scrying -- the use of water as a medium to predict the future, and corruption. He told me that this place reminded him a place back in his own world that had been distorted with magic. In that place, appearances became distorted, people acted differently and objects appeared to take on lives of their own.

[A beat.] Fire-chan comes to mind, with that last part.

That said.... it seems like Jansen thinks the Teishu is the one we shouldn't be trusting.

"Weird dislikes" is pretty subjective, but considering the Teishu has "apes" and "social media" on his dislikes [Yes, she might have memorized those plaques by now.] ...I'd say that's who he's talking about.

I thought you'd be outraged by that. Weren't you and Nishitani-san defending the Teishu like your lives depended on it last week?

Honestly I didn't really say much in the last meetin', I think you're thinkin' about Nishitani talkin' ta Narumi-kun.

It ain't a secret I've defended the Teishu, before, but I'm not unwillin' ta listen ta people's thoughts about him. Ultimately they both kidnapped us, yeah?

Teishu-kun's trapped here same as us, last thing he needs is people thinkin' he's been lyin' this whole damn time.

But whoever the fuck it is, what's it matter? We gonna kill 'em fer sellin' us out? At this point? What's findin' the spy even gonna do?

The point I was making was that we're all in the same situation, so if you're not gonna trust any of us, why should we trust the Teishu just 'cause he's been trapped?

If the spy's got information, then it'd be useful to know. The more info we have on the Sage and the Teishu, the better.

That's why they're more useful alive than dead.
