week 7
Week 7
Sunday - Thursday
With the loss of two more warriors, the castle has grown even quieter still. Such a thing was always bound to become a consequence of your stay here, though the actual reality of it may be more unpleasant. There's been little in the way of parties, which isn't too much of a surprise given your dwindling numbers, but it's still better than nothing, correct?
As with every other week, new locations have been unveiled for you all to either explore or use to casually gather within. If you've been keeping an eye on the cherry blossoms, you'll note that they look just about ready to bloom. The important thing is, of course, that they haven't. But it's only a matter of time, now.

You can contact the sage with your pendants here, and the teishu here.)

I'm not entirely certain. There's obviously a parallel being drawn between the Sage and the friend in the story.

[ hes gonna ask if no one else does this seems important?? ]

We were talking about scrying -- the use of water as a medium to predict the future, and corruption. He told me that this place reminded him a place back in his own world that had been distorted with magic. In that place, appearances became distorted, people acted differently and objects appeared to take on lives of their own.
[A beat.] Fire-chan comes to mind, with that last part.
That said.... it seems like Jansen thinks the Teishu is the one we shouldn't be trusting.

[ majima is. legitimately surprised. ]
After all that shit he talked about with the Sage durin' trial?

"Weird dislikes" is pretty subjective, but considering the Teishu has "apes" and "social media" on his dislikes [Yes, she might have memorized those plaques by now.] ...I'd say that's who he's talking about.
no subject
[ he nods. he believes her, definitely, but he's ??? confused now?? ]
I don't understand.

I thought you'd be outraged by that. Weren't you and Nishitani-san defending the Teishu like your lives depended on it last week?
no subject
[ he shrugs ]
It ain't a secret I've defended the Teishu, before, but I'm not unwillin' ta listen ta people's thoughts about him. Ultimately they both kidnapped us, yeah?
no subject
[ You're supposed to be a yakuza boss too, Nishitani. ]
Teishu-kun's trapped here same as us, last thing he needs is people thinkin' he's been lyin' this whole damn time.

But whoever the fuck it is, what's it matter? We gonna kill 'em fer sellin' us out? At this point? What's findin' the spy even gonna do?
no subject
[That aside--]
If the spy's got information, then it'd be useful to know. The more info we have on the Sage and the Teishu, the better.
That's why they're more useful alive than dead.

Ya gonna be the one ta get 'em ta talk, Mahiro-kun?

[... is she still faintly salty about Majima's conduct at the trial? Maybe slightly though it's well concealed. She's not interested in turning a group learning exercise into anything it doesn't need to be.
]
But speaking of the Teishu, has anyone made any progress in name finding?

Sounds like ya know some stuff we don't though, Naomi-chan. Ya mind sharin' what Jansen was on about?
no subject
[Nobody asked you, Kizakura, but thanks]
no subject
[....So back to being suspicious of Kizakura, then????]
no subject
Ya mind sharin' with the class, Naomi-chan?
