week 7

Week 7
Sunday - Thursday

With the loss of two more warriors, the castle has grown even quieter still. Such a thing was always bound to become a consequence of your stay here, though the actual reality of it may be more unpleasant. There's been little in the way of parties, which isn't too much of a surprise given your dwindling numbers, but it's still better than nothing, correct?

As with every other week, new locations have been unveiled for you all to either explore or use to casually gather within. If you've been keeping an eye on the cherry blossoms, you'll note that they look just about ready to bloom. The important thing is, of course, that they haven't. But it's only a matter of time, now.

SURVIVING WARRIORS: 12

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

(OOC: Welcome to Week 7 of Ukimiya! Feel free to comment to the weekly top levels and thread as you like, and redeem coins at the wishing pool.

You can contact the sage with your pendants here, and the teishu here.)

[ Well we sure know the Sage picked right in his case. ]

Ain't like there's that much shit we can do. How's a spy gonna make it worse? We already can't fuckin' touch Sage-chan or Teishu-kun. Unless this spy dude knows Sage-chan's name an' hasn't said it, eh?

If it was that convenient, then it'd give us a pretty good reason to find 'em out, huh.

[Also he'd want to punch them because they could've saved them a lot of trouble by speaking up earlier!!]

Depends on how they wanted to use them I guess. They could've just been a failsafe in case no one actually went for the motives. Even just talking about it right now's just probably playing into their hands.

[To be frank. But then again Mahiro's had his own suspicions early on and he's sure others have, too.]

Right, seems like they'd be holdin' all the cards, eh? It'd be pretty sweet ta be that guy...

[ A failsafe though... ]

I dunno, seems to've worked pretty fuckin' good on us, as well as the two rounds before ours. Seems kinda super extra careful ta try that shit.... but ya got a good point, if the deal is ta get us suspectin' one another an' hatin' each other more than we already do then they're pretty damn good at their job, eh?

Maybe, up until the Sage or the Teishu think they're not worth hanging onto, at least. Even if they knew stuff, having them know too much just sounds like a liability to me.

[Especially if it's something so key that the dead were asking them to try and find it...]

Yeah, and there aren't really cons to it from their side if they're careful with how much info they leak. Even if it gets out that they wanted a spy, the most it's gonna do is pit more people against the Sage. It's not like he's been trying to make himself popular otherwise, though.

Yeah, wouldn't make much damn sense ta sign up fer it, knowin' Sage-chan could turn around an' tell ya ya ain't useful ta him no more. Hell, they mighta already been killed, fer all we know.

[ So, good job team, maybe? ]

No kiddin'. Sage-chan's about as sociable as a damn sea urchin. They'd have some poor sap workin' for 'em, and when the time comes they can kill 'em just as easy as the rest. Ain't no fuckin' way Sage-chan woulda let some "spy" know enough ta actually get an edge in on 'em.
