WELL DONE, WARRIORS


Before anyone realizes it, time is up. At first, it's brought on by the sound of an ancient-sounding gong that's banged loudly and incessantly throughout the entirety of the trial room. The noise is enough to cause a heavy distraction from any lingering conversations and preoccupations in the midst of the trial. When the banging ceases, the golden box that rests behind the green curtain fades temporarily from sight.

Everyone understands, however, that by now that this isn't exactly the only thing that would herald the end. After all, it wouldn't be right for everyone to be suddenly released without knowing what the verdict is, correct?
