Week 2
Friday's harrowing events are clear in the minds of many—first and foremost, the death of Rika Furude, and of course the reveal and subsequent "sentencing" of Asch the Bloody. It also serves well as a reminder to everyone that the gloves are off, there won't be an easy way out for anyone and it is unlikely that there will be an option to 'wait it out' in the hopes of not participating in this 'game'. Or, as The Sage and The Teishu put it:
The Challenge.
Despite how you felt about the trial, it's likely that some rest would be welcome after all that transpired. Fortunately, some of your fellow warriors have taken it upon themselves to provide a reprieve of sorts, if you'd rather not be alone.
As if the events of the trial are supposed to be nothing but routine, dawns comes once more Sunday morning, punctuated with the sound of the rooster crowing obnoxiously. Any light sleepers hoping for their rest to not be disturbed may find themselves disappointed. Though, if anyone should wish, they may feel free to try to fall back asleep.
But, maybe that time can be better spent wandering. It seems that some places may have mysteriously unveiled themselves. It might do well to check them out. Or not. How anyone chooses to spend their time is ultimately up to them.

I dunno though. It's not that bad, is it? The breeze is kinda nice. [ because you don't have to wear pants underneath the robes and all. ] Girls have it good.

...Ehhh. [Doesn't sound like he agrees with that. He glowers down at his sleeve.] They're an awful color, for one thing. For another, trying to do laundry with sleeves like this is obnoxious.
no subject
[ not gonna disagree about the color tho. why green... ]
Easy fix. Just take it off, then.
no subject
[As for the robe -]
I- I'm not just gonna sit around here doing laundry in almost nothing! [Flustering intensifies.] That'd be so embarrassing...!
no subject
[ looks down at himself. looks up at elliot. stares. ]
no subject
The reason is because he is very small, very gay, and very prone to blushing.]
no subject
I can turn around and even cover my face. I won't peek. [ much. ]
no subject
[Why this. Why him.]
no subject
[ he's wearing his boxers! they could probably pass for swim trunks. ]
Not like this is anything you haven't seen before anyway.
no subject
[Unless you're Miyamura, anyway?!]
no subject
And besides... [ just to be a little serious. ] this is for transparency's sake. Now you know my body is clean and pure. The next time we do a strip search, you can compare.
no subject
[ugh?! Miyamura WHY]
...I- I guess that's true. But is it wrong to hold out hope there might not be a next time? [And that if there is, he won't have to do it?]
no subject
[ sorry, but only slightly ]
Well, I didn't think it would happen at all in the first place, so we can both hope it won't happen again. [ buuut who knows. better elliot doing the strip search stuff than miyamura - is what most people would say. ]
no subject
[Squint. He's not following. What is it with you people and your honorifics, he's from fantasy Germany, what the hell]
I guess you're right, but if they're law enforcement, I don't want to think about their punishments, anyway. [Given that it's either horrible death or horrible death by cloud void. ...So, horrible death.] I'll stick to that hope, though. It's all we've really got.
no subject
[ that and he doesn't want to give them proper titles. it's just a little act of defiance. ]
It didn't seem like there were a lot of people interested in the motive, so maybe we're OK. Who knows?
no subject
[He still doesn't quite get honorifics, but elects not to ask.]
I hope so... and that, if we are, they don't try to give us something even worse.
[He bites his lip. Last week's was way more troubling to him than this week's...]
no subject
[ well, since they're getting into the heavy stuff while doing laundry... ]
The fact that they wanna save this place with purification powers or whatever - granted to nine people who are capable of murdering nearly two dozen innocent people [ or not so innocent... ] and getting away with it. How does that make any sense?
no subject
No matter what they're planning, I don't think they can purify this place with sorrow.

[He sighs.]
Don't really see the point in talking to someone who's just gonna dance around every single question we have and calm our worries with "eh, you'll figure it out."
