Week 2
Friday's harrowing events are clear in the minds of many—first and foremost, the death of Rika Furude, and of course the reveal and subsequent "sentencing" of Asch the Bloody. It also serves well as a reminder to everyone that the gloves are off, there won't be an easy way out for anyone and it is unlikely that there will be an option to 'wait it out' in the hopes of not participating in this 'game'. Or, as The Sage and The Teishu put it:
The Challenge.
Despite how you felt about the trial, it's likely that some rest would be welcome after all that transpired. Fortunately, some of your fellow warriors have taken it upon themselves to provide a reprieve of sorts, if you'd rather not be alone.
As if the events of the trial are supposed to be nothing but routine, dawns comes once more Sunday morning, punctuated with the sound of the rooster crowing obnoxiously. Any light sleepers hoping for their rest to not be disturbed may find themselves disappointed. Though, if anyone should wish, they may feel free to try to fall back asleep.
But, maybe that time can be better spent wandering. It seems that some places may have mysteriously unveiled themselves. It might do well to check them out. Or not. How anyone chooses to spend their time is ultimately up to them.

Sure thing, pal!
[ Nishitani reaches forward to grab the knife off his chest, releasing his leg at the same time. Hope that doesn't get him kicked in the face or anything, gosh, that sure would suck! ]
no subject
But then he smiles. Guess you're not the only one who likes pain... ]
Give me your best.

Wouldn't dream of goin' easy on ya, Teishu-kun!
[ This is definitely fun. Nishitani twirls the knife in his hand and cackles before dashing forward again, his arm fully outstretched to try and stab at the Teishu again. This time he isn't leaving the knife, though, he sweeps forward once, then pulls back quickly to spin back like he's practically dancing. Except, you know, there's a knife in his hand. But boy, does he look happy. ]

[
Well.So there's the bright purple light going on from the wound before it closes, but it's not like the Teishu is paying it any mind. He moves to meet Nishitani in this "dance"—whatever martial art he's trained in, it looks graceful and fluid. He'll take whatever slice comes his way in exchange for moving to grab the knifeless arm, his intention to use Nishitani's momentum against him. Looks like he's also a fan of trying to make him eat dirt. ]

Teishu if you wanna have a threesome with Nishitani and Majima, that can be arranged, you know.Whoops well that wasn't how Nishitani was planning on this to go, but then he's used to fighting dudes that react to pain, not this crazy purple glowy shit. It sounds like Nishitani's about to have a date with the floor, however. He tries to brace himself for damage but he's going down nonetheless. ]

Throw successful, and he smirks. Course that means he's busy gloating, so if you want to counter now's a good time. ]
no subject
Good news for Nishitani, of course. He's just fine with being on the floor. He quickly puts his arms under himself and spins his legs back in something of a breakdance-kick. You know, like he's spinning on the ground. ]
no subject
What a ridiculous move. [ But it doesn't sound as hard as it could be, and he moves to reengage with a flurry of jabs. ]
no subject
[ Break kickdancing is his favorite, second only to just straight up knife dancing. Nishitani chuckles even as he pushes himself up off the ground to try and dodge those jabs. (Since he doesn't have heat though... it's probably not going to go all that well.) ]
no subject
It's been some time since I've seen improvisation like that. Regardless, I think it best we stop here for now—the purpose of this whole ordeal would fall short if I was to injure you in a significant manner.
no subject
However, this being Nishitani... well, getting bruised is definitely what he's into. I'm sorry. He laughs even as he grips his chest in pain. ]
Hah... Glad I could surprise ya, pal.
[ Oh, sure, his breath is coming short and he seems almost entirely out of breath, but have you ever seen a man look so damn happy about that fact? ]
That it? Ya act like bein' injured ain't part of the fun.
no subject
It can be, I'm aware. But it wouldn't be prudent if it affects your ability as a warrior, would it?
no subject
Eh, I've had worse.
[ He waves a hand, dismissing the Teishu's sound logic. ]
Couplea bruises ain't no big deal. Ya seen me an' Majima go at it, yeah? We don't just stop at first blood.
no subject
That's different: you two are Warriors and I'm not.
no subject
Aw, don't tell me ya got a rule that ya can't hurt us warriors unless yer dolin' out punishments! Or is it cause yer all strong? 'Fraid ya might accidentally do me in?
no subject
[ And you know how much he's a rules lawyer, he just happens to like fighting a lot OK. ]
no subject
Nah, ain't no rules bendin' here, Teishu-kun! I said I owed ya fer bringin' me back, this is just us evenin' the score. Nothin' wrong with two guys beatin' on each other every now an' then!
[ Nishitani twirls his knife in his hand, tossing it in the air and catching it again. He really would be down for round 2. ]
Maybe I'll owe ya fer somethin' else later. If we fought over it, wouldn't be 'gainst the rules, right? Can't be no rules sayin' I can't owe ya a favor.
no subject
Likely not, but I can't commit to anything in advance. We will see, however. [ In other words: he really would like to just let loose but that's a bit difficult (Senhime), and he does have a boss that would frown upon really beating up his warriors. ]
no subject
[ Getting thoroughly beat up, he means. But then Nishitani is Like That. ]
