Week 2
Friday's harrowing events are clear in the minds of many—first and foremost, the death of Rika Furude, and of course the reveal and subsequent "sentencing" of Asch the Bloody. It also serves well as a reminder to everyone that the gloves are off, there won't be an easy way out for anyone and it is unlikely that there will be an option to 'wait it out' in the hopes of not participating in this 'game'. Or, as The Sage and The Teishu put it:
The Challenge.
Despite how you felt about the trial, it's likely that some rest would be welcome after all that transpired. Fortunately, some of your fellow warriors have taken it upon themselves to provide a reprieve of sorts, if you'd rather not be alone.
As if the events of the trial are supposed to be nothing but routine, dawns comes once more Sunday morning, punctuated with the sound of the rooster crowing obnoxiously. Any light sleepers hoping for their rest to not be disturbed may find themselves disappointed. Though, if anyone should wish, they may feel free to try to fall back asleep.
But, maybe that time can be better spent wandering. It seems that some places may have mysteriously unveiled themselves. It might do well to check them out. Or not. How anyone chooses to spend their time is ultimately up to them.

You don't have to tell me anything, Mahiro-kun. But generally speaking, I think it's in everyone's best interests to clear up misunderstandings so that nobody has the wrong idea.
[And cue the inevitable... Well you have the wrong idea, Misora in 3...2...1...]
no subject
There's nothing to get a wrong idea about. We talked a couple times and that's it.
[And absolutely nothing embarrassing happened in any of those conversations. Yes.]

[She raises an eyebrow, but there's a bit of a grin on her lips. She's teasing at this point because the kid is being stubborn, but she's willing to let it go. Until he gives her reason not to. ...Probably.]

[Or he'd better, because otherwise someone's going to get shouted at... not that he has much confidence that Jin would be able to hold up to Misora's level of scrutiny but. He'd better. Also don't think he doesn't miss that smile...!]
What's so funny?
no subject
It probably will happen since she has every intention of asking Jin about magic, sorry Mahiro.]Hm? Nothing's funny.
[A beat.]
You must hear that you're too clever for your own good a lot, Mahiro-kun.

mahiro cries silently in his heart if it does but i live for embarrassing my own charactersThis topic change, though... suspicious!!]
Only when the person in question has something to gain from it.
no subject
...What do I have to gain from saying that to you?
no subject
[Which is kind of par for the course, really?! He wasn't implying anything weird...]
no subject
[She concedes that pretty readily.]
But no, I just meant you seem like a sharp kid and- ow!
[THIS MOTHERFUCKING BOOK. Misora slams the the on the ground and pins it under her boot.]
How have you been keeping this thing under control anyway?
no subject
It doesn't move around if it's covered with cloth. [Which he's just holding because no one asked for it I guess??] I don't know if it can actually see or sense someone handling it, but it sits still as long as you don't bother it.
