[Tiki wanders into the great hall expecting company, expecting a full room just like before to abate her loneliness and what she finds instead is...Mahiro, chillin'.

And no one else.

Okay. Cool. Fine. She'll throw a goddamn party herself IF THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING, TRY HER.

So she drags one (1) rude teen into the kitchen despite protests that he can't cook, finds Eizen actively in the middle of cooking, and takes full advantage of the situation and also her own cute charm until curry for two turns into curry for twenty four.

Everyone will find notes slipped under their door, courtesy of Tiki's new gopher since he refuses to cook, the first part written in loose, loopy handwriting like an elementary schooler who hasn't quite gotten the hang of the cursive they've been taught:]

Let's meet in the Great Hall together in about an hour and have dinner again this time, so nobody has to be alone.

[aaand under that in a completely different set of handwriting:]

I don't know why we're doing this after someone died from getting poisoned through food but at least there won't be any fucking cake. Don't come if you don't want to.

in the Great Hall, Tiki's hard at work setting up Eizen's mabo curry for the taking (and she's bullied him into making exactly one plate of non-spicy curry because she loves Hanyuu), and also hard at work into bullying Mahiro into helping her set up silverware and plates and beverages. It's not much, but it's here.]

Dunno, honestly. I trust Teishu-kun. He's a stickler fer justice an' honor an' he don't hide it.

Sage-chan's a harder nut ta crack... He's the one who wants ta see someone get away with killin', so I wouldn't be too surprised if he started toyin' with us a little more personally if pullin' the strings ain't gettin' him his results.

[He takes out some composition paper and a pen]

Follow me, there's something you should hear about. Something's going on with Sage-san, but it's...I could tell you, if you promise to keep it to yourself and not mention it to Teishu-san or anyone else. Well, except to Majima-san, I guess. I bet you'd tell him anyway.

[Kizakura looks around. There's a few people over there, talking with each other...so Kizakura gestures Nishitane to approach, until they're close enough to them. It's unlikely they'll be eavesdropped by them, but looks like Kizakura feels a bit more comfortable with other people nearby]

Huh. [ That's unexpected. ] Ya know, that's how folks tend ta get killed.

[ He chuckles, but still follows. He's not exactly afraid of Kizakura, but he also wouldn't expect him to try anything so close to Senhime's trial as well. Good call on the Majima thing, though, he would've told him, permission or not.

He lowers his voice-- not whispering, obviously, he's no amateur to this stuff, despite being a blowhard most of the time. ]

Awright, I'll keep it quiet. What's so secret that ya gotta tell me where nobody else can hear ya?

[Kizakura lowers his voice a bit too, and starts writing on the composition paper]

Nevermind, I changed my mind. It's nothing important, my bad.

[He seems to be saying that to the pendant. He passes the written piece of paper to Nishitani, and flaps and crinkles another one in front of the pendant. The note says:

Sage-san had been dining with Senhime-san every night. Teishu-san feared he was getting too attached to her because it'd interfere with the greater good - that must be the completion of this game.]

Aw, what, ya gonna pull me aside just ta fuckin' string me on?

[ Nishitani reads the paper, of course. Interesting news, that's for sure. The fact that he's hiding it from their Kind Hosts is almost just as interesting. ]

Ya really don't got nothin' ta share? Won't tell Teishu-kun, promise!

[ Nishitani's a surprisingly good actor, all things considered. Though that should come as no surprise. He's a yakuza. ]

Nope, got nothing. I should have thought twice before saying anything.

[He glances at the nearby group. Yeah, Kizakura's not nearby as a good actor as Nishitani is, hah]

Even if I had something to say, doing it near a group of people's a bit stupid anyway. Who'd do that? Not someone who wanted to make it harder for other people to listen, that's for sure.

[He even points at his pendant for a moment, "other people". Hint hint]

[ You're trying your best, Kizakura. It's... really painfully obvious, but it's certainly an attempt. Nishitani manages not to laugh. ]

Well, fuck! Way ta waste my time, Kizakura-kun! If ya really want a little one-on-one time, all ya gotta do is ask.

[ He winks. Is he even acting at this point. ]

By the way, what happened to Senhime-san...try to forget about that. At least until you're out of here, there's not much time to be frustrated for long. That'll have to wait for once you're out of here.

[ This time Nishitani does chuckle. ]

Appreciate yer concern, pal. Honest. Sometimes people do dumb shit -- it's easy ta forget when ya start ta care about 'em, but carin' don't make 'em immune ta the same kinda deal. 's just how it is, yeah?

[ In other words... he'll be fine. He just needs to blow off some steam and go back to not caring about people. Because that's healthy.... ]
