Week 3
Week 3
Sunday - Thursday
The beginning of the third week starts like the rest, even with the loss of three of your fellow warriors: Chiaki, Hei, and Senhime. Despite your best hopes, it doesn't seem like the trend of murders is going to change: though at least there is some relief to be had from the trial's somewhat unexpected conclusion. The mood in the group is undoubtedly different, but perhaps this experience has made you all stronger— at least one could hope.
In the end, what else can you do but move on?
Like last week, it seems another pattern has established itself: with new areas of the castle for you to explore. Who knows, maybe this week you'll discover something else worthwhile in its depths. Or you can simply focus on surviving— after the past week, surely no one can blame you. Whatever choices you make this week are ultimately yours and yours alone, for better or for worse.

...I think I'll just see what I can do with bending this and tying string to it directly, first.

[And watch one of them cut their finger open if they try.]

[He apparently does not recognize this inherent danger. Time for the player to make her character also suffer the consequences of hurt fingers - okay, no, he probably knows how to use a knife.]
Anything in here I could go at this with, or should I go grab a knife outta the kitchen, you think?
no subject
So yeah, he pulls a knife that looks very suspiciously like a kitchen knife But hey, it's at least safely tucked away into those robes.]
No need, I already got one on me.
no subject
Oh, uh. That's useful. Mind if I borrow that?

[He grins at Jansen before taking the knife and beginning to saw at the twig. And here he yelled at Tiki for knife safety...]

And no bloodshed! Truly, this is a miracle.
He sets down the knife and starts trying to attach the string.]
Y'know, even if I get this to work, I still don't know how I'm gonna play this thing. It's just so tiny. I honestly don't get it.
no subject
[Yeah, someone really doesn't get the joke about a tiny violin here.]

After some fumbling, Elliot manages to kind of assemble something that kind of, sort of looks like a bow. He pulls a piece of rosin from his pocket, then runs the mini-bow across it once.
Okay. Now time to test it for real! He pulls the mini-bow across the tiny strings, and...
...It. Kind of works? It's not by any means perfect, but it's more sound than Sen managed to get out of it with her fingernail, so there's that?]
no subject
That sounds kinda neat. Wonder if you could actually do a song with something that tiny?
no subject
[Ugh, positioning for this is so awkward, but he manages to play a song after a bit of struggling.
A thrilling rendition of Hot Cross Buns. You're welcome.]
