Week 3

Week 3
Sunday - Thursday

The beginning of the third week starts like the rest, even with the loss of three of your fellow warriors: Chiaki, Hei, and Senhime. Despite your best hopes, it doesn't seem like the trend of murders is going to change: though at least there is some relief to be had from the trial's somewhat unexpected conclusion. The mood in the group is undoubtedly different, but perhaps this experience has made you all stronger— at least one could hope.

In the end, what else can you do but move on?

Like last week, it seems another pattern has established itself: with new areas of the castle for you to explore. Who knows, maybe this week you'll discover something else worthwhile in its depths. Or you can simply focus on surviving— after the past week, surely no one can blame you. Whatever choices you make this week are ultimately yours and yours alone, for better or for worse.

That pond outside gave it in exchange to a coin. Weird item, right? And since I don't want to upset the pond, I decided to wear it just once.

[He glances outside]

Upsetting the strange stuff like the magic pond and the fire who wants flattery is never a good idea. Besides...I was kind of embarrassed being seen drawing on walls like a toddler.

[...not that embarrassed, but hey, this is still a man in his forties playing around with chalk. He definitely earned the right to be a bit embarrassed about that]

I somehow think it cares little how you use it's gifts, long as you aren't rude to it.

But what was the purpose of drawing on the walls?

Where I come from some think you can't be too careful about that kind of stuff. That's the base of many beliefs. I'm not a superstitious man, but... [He gestures around] ...I'm at a magic castle and feeling like a fish out of water. I'm just staying on the safe side for now.

[And Vanitas and Machias' deaths the next day would reinforce such precaution]

It's a test. I can't tell you exactly what it is...but it's a test.

[And Georik is perhaps even less superstitious than most, but the weirdness of their situation, perhaps Kizakura has point]

Very well - I hope you'll get the answer you're looking for.
