Week 3
Week 3
Sunday - Thursday
The beginning of the third week starts like the rest, even with the loss of three of your fellow warriors: Chiaki, Hei, and Senhime. Despite your best hopes, it doesn't seem like the trend of murders is going to change: though at least there is some relief to be had from the trial's somewhat unexpected conclusion. The mood in the group is undoubtedly different, but perhaps this experience has made you all stronger— at least one could hope.
In the end, what else can you do but move on?
Like last week, it seems another pattern has established itself: with new areas of the castle for you to explore. Who knows, maybe this week you'll discover something else worthwhile in its depths. Or you can simply focus on surviving— after the past week, surely no one can blame you. Whatever choices you make this week are ultimately yours and yours alone, for better or for worse.

Did you see the pond go up and grab them? They were pulled in because they were touching it, dumbass.

Somehow he's working himself up more and so he pressed himself against Mahiro's back and peeks out from behind him to look at the pond. Yes, he's pathetic and stupid. ]
no subject
He does cringe when Jin gets even closer because he didn't ask for this?? The worst part is that he technically can't refute that point about hypnotism. Vanitas at the least, seemed awfully fascinated to the point of wanting to touch the surface, and didn't Machias seem to say something too...?]
Tch. Just slap me out of it if you see me trying to reach down, then.
[He's not necessarily moving closer, though.]
no subject
For now, he nods his head. He doesn't move away yet, but he nods. ] As long as you're giving me permission, deal. If I ever see you doing something dangerous, I'll be sure to slap you.
no subject
Only if it'll help. Don't try to do it if it's just going to get you killed.
[He doesn't need random people dying for him, thanks???]

Mahiro... You're such a good guy. In his heart he promises not to slap you if he ever sees you, say, holding a nailgun in the music room. ]
no subject
Then I'll make the same deal with you! If you see me doing something dangerous, slap me until I snap out of it. Oh, and the same stipulation goes!
[ Don't go dying for him either, ok. ]
no subject
I'm not planning on dying here, so you don't have to worry about that. And don't expect me to go easy on you, either.
[He would totally go for a backhand...]
no subject
I don't think you've done anything "easy" since you got here. [ Mahiro is a person who takes the path with the most resistance. He wouldn't have spit on evidence when there was a washroom nearby otherwise. ] To be honest, you seem like the kind of person who could survive anything so I believe you. Good luck, Fuwa!
no subject
But wow, he's not sure if that's like calling him a cockroach or what...! Mahiro's not sure why Jin even gets that impression anyways, but if it makes him feel better... the more power to him.]
So you're not gonna freak out again if I just take a look, right?
no subject
Nope! [ Before he'll let Mahiro go off and face the pond, however, he pinches the fabric on Mahiro's arm. ] All right, I'm ready! Let's go.
no subject
[Sigh! He'll deal, though. It's not like he's planning on doing anything more than see if there's anything visible beneath the surface. No bodies, and no trace of anything left to even prove that they existed here, huh.]
Did you ever check how many fish were in the pond?
no subject
No. Did you?
no subject
[And here he'll just move to crouch at the edge. He's not reaching towards the pond or anything but it might be sudden enough to be at least a little bit alarming without a warning.]
no subject
Sorry about this. [ And slaps Mahiro across the cheek. To his credit, he's still hanging onto the blond's sleeve with his other hand. ]

[Jinnnn he gave you permission but have more common sense!!! Or maybe Mahiro should actually bother to tell people when he decides to do shit but shh. Shhhhhhhhhhhh.]

[ Common sense is hard, slapping people is easier. ]
no subject
Next time, try asking first.

[Idly, Mahiro scoops up a small pebble from the ground and lightly tosses it a couple times in the air, before stepping back and whipping it towards the far side of the pond.]
If it can hypnotize people at all, it'd have to be under some other conditions.
no subject
Okay, so staring at it isn't enough. I don't think sitting next to it for a long period of time is either, hm... Something with reflections?
