Week 3

Sunday - Thursday

The beginning of the third week starts like the rest, even with the loss of three of your fellow warriors: Chiaki, Hei, and Senhime. Despite your best hopes, it doesn't seem like the trend of murders is going to change: though at least there is some relief to be had from the trial's somewhat unexpected conclusion. The mood in the group is undoubtedly different, but perhaps this experience has made you all stronger— at least one could hope.

In the end, what else can you do but move on?

Like last week, it seems another pattern has established itself: with new areas of the castle for you to explore. Who knows, maybe this week you'll discover something else worthwhile in its depths. Or you can simply focus on surviving— after the past week, surely no one can blame you. Whatever choices you make this week are ultimately yours and yours alone, for better or for worse.

[She'd have been shocked if he did really. Taking the pan off the heat, she adds the other pieces of toast to her own plate.]

How I really feel....

[She ponders this for a moment in a pretty exaggerated way with her hand on her chin. HMM. But for all that, her answer is relatively serious.]

You've probably been hurt really badly in the past. Any more questions or can we eat now?

[irrationalities]

[He's expecting something along the lines of more teasing, so hearing that... is interesting. There's no real reaction from him either way aside from the slight skepticism that crosses his face.]

Yeah, just one: is that what your years of profiling experience are telling you?

You could say that.

[But she's not going to elaborate apparently. She leaves her plate on the counter for a moment to pour herself a glass of water.]

You want some or no?

[irrationalities]

[He'll let it slide. He doesn't really care how people interpret his behavior anyways and if she wants to see it that way, then that's on her.]

Sure, if you're gonna do it anyways.

[With that, she gets a second cup and fills it with water before passing it to Mahiro. Just be glad she doesn't believe in his methods of throwing things over to people :|]

[And with that, she picks up her own plate of food and cup.]

Are you eating by yourself or do you feel like keeping me company?

[Wow!! He wouldn't throw a cup of water at someone...! Well maybe he would. If he was pissed off.]

I'm okay with staying here. There's no point in moving around when I don't have to.
