Week 5

Sunday - Thursday

The Joker and Rhoda are the next to join the land of the dead. It could be considered a blessing that this week's events didn't include as much as a bloodbath in comparison to the one previous. Just because only two have died doesn't mean the intensity of these occurrences have decreased in any fashion. The heated moments in the previous trial only proved as much. Even afterwards, there are those discontent entirely with the idea that someone seems to have gotten off the hook so easily. All everyone can really do is attempt to cool off and move forward.

Soon, the dawn of the fifth week is upon everyone.

Everyone's next concern may be the new locations revealed for all to explore. It may be because of the rooms' superb ability to distract or the simple means of investigating, but novelties are probably still welcome either way. If you find yourself gazing at the sakura tree (will you really trust a talking sink?), you'll find that the buds are brighter in color, though still closed. Maybe next week will signal their blooming, even if it that no longer seems like an entirely good omen.

It's a waste of everyone's time, including his, unless the point really is just to get a kick out of everyone suffering. [Which she wouldn't discount, especially at this point.] Forcing people to kill like this is just stupid. It's not gonna make the killers "stronger," that's for sure.

Well, ya know what that fuckin' water said, right? How they were feedin' on the dead and people's feelin's or some shit? Wouldn't surprise me if that's the real endgame.

Are we sure that the tree and the Sage aren't connected? 'Cause if there's any corruption or whatever going on, it sounds more like we're gonna be the ones to make it happen thanks to the tree.

That's a damn good question, actually. Just cause it's showin' how close we are ta bein' fucked don't mean it ain't connected. Fer all we know, Sage-chan could be gettin' stronger off all this death and shit.

Then we're all just playing right into his fucking hands. [She scowls. It's not like they haven't been already, but this is even worse to her.] The guy has to know about it when he's running this whole place, so it doesn't make sense that he hasn't said jack squat about the tree and how it's apparently leading to something bad when he's supposedly trying to stop some corruption.

Unless he's in on it some how. Fucking hell.

I don't doubt the fucker's in on it, ta be honest. His power ain't pushin' back corruption, it's containment. Sure, that means he can put up barriers, but it sounds ta me like his real power is keepin' alla us trapped in here.

If we take him for his word, we know he needs our help for the corruption, but what if it's not about fighting back against it all? Maybe he's looking for people good at killing and not getting caught 'cause he's looking for containers for the corruption? And what'd be better to hold evil magic than a bunch of evil people?

And I'm getting tired of walking around the same five fucking places every day. For some fucked up shit like making us kill each other, I dunno how they managed to make it so goddamn boring.

Finding out who died and who killed are really the only things to do here, and even that sucks when we're stuck in the trial room for the whole day. [Why is there no real positive to this situation not one single good thing!!]

Man, there really ain't any shit ta do around here. I can see why ya tried ta kill Rhoda-chan, least it's somethin' ta do.

Exactly! [THANK GOD someone else who gets her completely logical way of thinking!!] I'm surprised anyone even needs a "motive" when there's literally jack shit to do here in the first place. Boredom's as good a motivator as anything.

No shit. If I didn't have Majima ta kill time with, I'd be in the same damn boat. Ya gotta find somethin' ta keep ya from goin' nuts round here.

If Eizen was still alive, I'd at least have someone to go drinking with. [She has no desire to get drunk alone and make herself an easy target like Hei, okay.] Instead he had to get himself killed like a fucking moron, and now there's nothing to do.

Yeah, no kiddin'. He was bein' a real dumbass that last week, coulda at least tried ta take someone else out on 'is way out. Woulda been funny if he killed somebody on a day besides fuckin' Thursday.

What is it with everyone killing on Thursday all the time anyways? Is it just too much of a hassle to kill earlier in the week? [No it's too late this is the real issue to focus on.]

Ya know, I asked Sage-chan an' he was all like "I dunno maybe you humans just like to wait till the end of the week" or some bullshit, that honestly seems ta be his theory. It's fuckin' dumb if ya ask me. Everybody's already expectin' a murder at this point.

That's the biggest bullshit I've ever heard. Like what, no one can clear out their schedule for murder until the end of the week? Too busy cooking every fucking day or talking to bubbles? [Come on Zero, the latter has actually proven to be important!!]

Right, cause we're soo busy doin' nothin' every fuckin' day, gotta make sure we block out Thursday night, cause that's when shit gets fuckin' lit!

Can you imagine that? "Boy, I sure don't want the Sage to do what he threatened, I better kill someone! But Sunday I'm sleeping in, Monday's got breakfast, I might get some nice stuff from the pond on Tuesday and Wednesday, so murder's gonna have to wait till Thursday!"
