all we really wanted was a sulking party, right?
[SORRY, SWEET DRAGONCHILD, WE HAVE COLLECTIVELY FAILED YOU.
There are no invites to any group gatherings after the trial today. There is only solitude and sulking. Though if you come out to the great hall, there will be a platter of sandwiches. Fancy stuff, that.
But wherever your character may choose to sulk on this fine post-trial Saturday, feel free to share the pain because sharing is caring.]

It's shit-talking to talk about the facts of what Zero did when other people bring up her actions, is it?
[Cuz yeah, that one was you, Majima. She'll repress a scoff, but part of it is audible through the civil tone.]
And if someone attempted to murder Nishitani-san, you'd keep nice and quiet about it? I seem to recall you shouting while standing on a table because his life was in danger. However, if that's changed since and you can say that you would without blatant hypocrisy, then I'll be sure to look up to your example.

Ya say that like ya haven't have a fuckin' hateboner for her every day since that went down. Sure I brought it up in trial, but that don't mean you've been quiet about it.
[ as for nishitani -- ]
If someone tried ta murder Nishitani, he'd probably just thank 'em for tryin' an' givin' him somethin' interestin' ta deal with. They'd either do it or they wouldn't.

You assume an awful lot about me, Majima-san. I may not like Zero, but she doesn't deserve to die for what she did. Keeping her under lock and key as a consequence of assault would have been apt. But that doesn't mean I have to like her.
[But whatever. she shakes her head.]
And if it the Sage... or someone else who completely outclassed Nishitani-san in strength injured Nishitani-san while he had his back turned to the point that he became easy pickings for someone else to mutilate deal the final blow, you'd bear no resentment towards that first person?

[ although, he's not entirely convinced she doesn't. that's not the point. all he did was ask her to stop talking about her, same as she's asked him not to annoy elliot. ]
The first person wouldn't've killed him. If anythin', it's fuckin' worse on the second person ta kill him when he was down 'cause that shit ain't fair. But it also isn't as if Joker needed Rhoda ta be weakened. He could've killed her anyway.

[A beat.]
You're changing the subject though. I was talking about whether you'd resent the first person at all, not who you'd resent more. If you're assuming I don't blame the Joker for Rhoda's death, you're sorely mistaken.
[Not that any of this is important, so really she's just going to sigh.]

[ and he's not impressed at all. he feels pretty awful for zero that she's been made this outcast by everyone -- especially since at least she was honest, whereas a bunch of people (in his estimation) killed for stupid reasons or tried to die pretending they didn't do something bad. his logic is, of course, swayed by the world he comes from. but being in the yakuza is part of who he is. ]
If someone hurt Nishitani an' didn't kill him, I'd assume they weren't intendin' ta fuckin' kill him, so there's no reason ta be mad at him. He an' I fight all the damn time. Sometimes we go pretty fuckin' hard.

[Left unsaid, but spelt out in the look she shoots him: so if you would kindly stop bringing her up, Majima.]
You're shifting the analogy again.
[Zero admitted that she was trying to kill Rhoda. Misora doesn't care if Majima likes Zero or not, but she is getting tired of him constantly changing the analogy to suit his own narrative about this issue.]
But we can drop it.
