week 8

Week 8
Sunday - Thursday

Whatever hopes you had going into the final trial have been dashed—after the execution, most of you were left with that unfortunate revelation, those bitter betrayals, and a lingering sense of regret over your failures. Even now, some of you may find it difficult to feel joy over the fact that everything is almost at an end. Understandably so, and even if things had been different, there's nothing that would erase your knowledge of the Emperor's ominous warning; a warning you either failed to heed or simply didn't know how to prevent.

In order to get through this new week, you will all need to pull yourselves together and work as a team. Some of you have already begun the process of trying to piece everything together. It's a start, but there's still much for you to discuss. After all, it wouldn't do to just suddenly discard all that information given to you, would it?

This week there aren't any new areas for you to explore. The only change in scenary comes from the sakura tree, and it's one that's hard to miss. The tree stands tall, branches full and lively, and the entire area around it seems that much more vibrant for it. The tree is in full bloom, a clear sign that your time in this castle has come to an end.

Anyone who tries to come too close to the tree will find themselves blocked by a white barrier.

originallutece: i've come to bury myself in you again (talk; hello science my old friend)

[She raises an eyebrow.]

Yes, I suppose so. Then what are you doing?
pseudoregelia: (me; you know it's)

Wellllll...

I thought about making a straw doll to curse them, you see, but that curse is for death and that's not what I want. Not only that, but nailing it into the tree would probably count as vandalism. So I thought, making a voodoo doll should work just as well, right?

As long as I don't bake it, the clay should be soft enough for pins, too!

[And also it saves her the time of sewing, which she is significantly less talented at.]
originallutece: very eager to see harm done to someone (happy; this is the smile of a woman)

[A moment-- and then, weirdly enough, Rosalind barks out a laugh.

It might be the loudest anyone's heard out of her here. It's certainly genuine, if not full of mirth so much as spite.]

Simply be careful it doesn't melt in the sun. You wouldn't want to get rid of a doll like that so quickly.
pseudoregelia: (A depth of pure blue)

[Hiyono is unfazed, her own voice cheery, yet sharp. Edged.]

Oh, I wouldn't dream of it.

[She pauses to pick up the Sage doll, giving it a soft squeeze. One of her nails digs a line into the face, giving in a nice little mark in its cheek tracing down to its chin.]

At this point, just a punch won't be satisfying enough. These dolls will need to survive until I can make good on that promise at least before I can toss them.
originallutece: would be what they'd call this emotion if i was 12 (happy; delightfully impudent)

Burn them.

I should imagine Fire-chan would take to that quite quickly.
pseudoregelia: (How come you)

[personal profile] pseudoregelia 2017-09-18 04:40 pm (UTC)(link)
But Madame Lutece, that would be feeding poor Fire-chan absolute garbage!

Fire-chan hasn't done anything wrong.
