Week 2
Friday's harrowing events are clear in the minds of many—first and foremost, the death of Rika Furude, and of course the reveal and subsequent "sentencing" of Asch the Bloody. It also serves well as a reminder to everyone that the gloves are off, there won't be an easy way out for anyone and it is unlikely that there will be an option to 'wait it out' in the hopes of not participating in this 'game'. Or, as The Sage and The Teishu put it:
The Challenge.
Despite how you felt about the trial, it's likely that some rest would be welcome after all that transpired. Fortunately, some of your fellow warriors have taken it upon themselves to provide a reprieve of sorts, if you'd rather not be alone.
As if the events of the trial are supposed to be nothing but routine, dawns comes once more Sunday morning, punctuated with the sound of the rooster crowing obnoxiously. Any light sleepers hoping for their rest to not be disturbed may find themselves disappointed. Though, if anyone should wish, they may feel free to try to fall back asleep.
But, maybe that time can be better spent wandering. It seems that some places may have mysteriously unveiled themselves. It might do well to check them out. Or not. How anyone chooses to spend their time is ultimately up to them.

[ Did you hear that, Teishu, he's gonna talk into his pendant if he has to. ]
These fuckers can't even let a guy die in peace.
no subject
He took a life and lost his life, that is justice. The method however... was not mine, suffice it to say.
no subject
Ah? That's maybe not somethin' your boss wants ta hear ya say.
no subject
He chuckles. It definitely feels like the Teishu shouldn't be so open with them but he sure as hell won't complain. ]
So Sage-chan's the one who's comin' up with these? Who knew the little guy was a sadist.
no subject
I think "coming up with" isn't really correct either. But that's all I can say on the matter. [ But he doesn't seem like he regrets his choice of words, so as you do. ]

[ Because between the monsters and the being up in the sky, it's all pretty weird. ]
no subject
...but I would wait a bit to contact him given what just occurred.
no subject
[ he means it as a more of a...he doesn't mind that the teishu can't explain. like he's letting him off the hook. at least that explains why hes not gonna hear about cigarettes for the day!!! too bad!!! they will continue 2 suffer ]
Maybe you're not the only one upset by havin' ta do this shit, then.
[ after all the sage dislikes confrontation, right?? thats pretty confrontational ]
no subject
[ Not like you're gonna disobey your boss over two strangers, that would be bad form all around. ]
Can't be easy bein' the boss when ya got shit like whatever the hell's goin' on around here.
no subject
[ Yeah he does not sound upset about tossing Chiaki into the clouds at all. ]
no subject
[ everyone else might think cutting off pinkies is horrific but to them its just how things are ]
no subject
[ Usually, he says, because he's... extra. ]
no subject
I have to admit, I didn't think we would agree on such things. [ A beat. ] It's interesting.
no subject
[ he says this very proudly. for both of them really. he's glad he's on nishitani's level honestly. ]
Keepin' people in line ain't easy.
no subject
Ya don't get to the top by always makin' nice an' lettin' shit slide. Sometimes it takes a heavy hand, 's just how it is.

[ not the right thing to be focusing on here, Nishitani. ]
no subject
I am, though in relative age I'm only slightly older than him.
no subject
It's weird havin' a boss that's younger than ya, sometimes! Daigo-chan is a good kid, but he's kidna naive.
no subject
[ He's not exactly a kid... ]
no subject
[ Just sayin'.]
no subject
[ flattery will get you everywhere, right ]
no subject
Jus' surprisin' that ya ain't the one in charge in that case. What's Sage-chan got that ya don't?
