Week 4

Sunday - Thursday

You've lost four in the past week—Machias, Vanitas, Natalia and Edna. Just in time for the fourth week to roll around, for those of you who are superstitious. But it really isn't like you could forget that death is a common occurrence in this castle, whether you believe in legends or not. Some of you might find solace in the chance to recuperate and move on, if you're still up for companionship with your fellow warriors.

Either way, dawn is soon upon the castle and like it or not, you will all have to face whatever comes this week.

Like before the pattern repeats itself, with new areas revealed for you to explore. It may be that something worth discovering lies in wait to be found, or you can simple enjoy the new additions for what they are. Distractions are most likely welcome, regardless of your feelings of the past week.

Well, if ya ask me, it's startin' ta look like everybody just takes evidence at face value. So if ya wanna get away with killin', all ya really gotta do is plant fake evidence and act like yer a different height, that kinda shit.

If it were me, I'd kill somebody and throw 'em in the pond, see if Pond-kun eats the body. At least it'll fuckin' wash it clean, worst case.

It's probably 'cause everyone who's killed so far had some dumb "good reason" for what they were doing. For people trying to commit murder and get away with it, all of them felt so bad about it. Amateurs.

What if the pond just spits the body back out at someone after they toss in a coin? [Honestly, she'd laugh...] I wonder if tossing the body into the fire'd work though. Turning the whole thing into ashes would be pretty handy.

Probably. Wish he'd just admit that he likes watching us suffer and panic and like a bunch of morons. That'd feel more honest than all this "Oh no, your world's gonna get corrupted!" or "Maybe you'll believe me if I threaten someone you know!" bullshit.

[As much as she'd just prefer the Sage to admit to being a sadist, she's not sure what to think about the tree honestly. Her own experiences have made her pretty wary of any magical plants.]

What do you think is gonna happen when the tree gets enough bodies?

[ Nothing good, that's for sure. Nishitani hadn't ever seen magic before he got here and even he knows it's bad news. ]

Who the fuck knows. The corruption shit might as well be fuckin' made up, if Pond-kun thinks the tree's the real problem. Nothin' good ever happens when a sakura tree blooms in the stories. Means death is comin'.

I'd never seen or heard anything about sakura trees, but I've seen plenty about evil flowers blooming.

[In some ways, she's pretty glad this place took away everyone's powers. Not having to really deal with the flower in her eye like usual has been pretty nice.]

If the corruption's real though, it'd end up killing everyone anyways, right? Death's probably coming either way.

Yeah, ain't no secret back home. There's plentya stories where the sakura petals get their color from the bodies they bury under the tree.

Pretty fuckin' much. I can believe that there's shit out there that could kill us, what I don't believe is that nine of us fuckers are just magically gonna "purify" it when dudes like Sage-chan and Teishu-kun got all this power and supposedly can't do shit.

Not to mention they wanna purify this evil with a bunch of people who got away with murder. How is that supposed to work?

They can kidnap a bunch of people from who knows how many different worlds, and they can't even figure out how to deal with a problem in their own. Fucking pathetic. [She doesn't know if the corruption was something they caused or not, but the fact that they have to rely on outside help instead of taking care of their own mess pisses her off.]

They should've been more careful with who they snatched up then. I don't have a problem with killing, but being told I'm supposed to kill for what they want? I don't fucking think so.
