Week 4
Week 4
Sunday - Thursday
You've lost four in the past week—Machias, Vanitas, Natalia and Edna. Just in time for the fourth week to roll around, for those of you who are superstitious. But it really isn't like you could forget that death is a common occurrence in this castle, whether you believe in legends or not. Some of you might find solace in the chance to recuperate and move on, if you're still up for companionship with your fellow warriors.
Either way, dawn is soon upon the castle and like it or not, you will all have to face whatever comes this week.
Like before the pattern repeats itself, with new areas revealed for you to explore. It may be that something worth discovering lies in wait to be found, or you can simple enjoy the new additions for what they are. Distractions are most likely welcome, regardless of your feelings of the past week.

[He'd mentioned there being a traitor trying to kill them, but this seems like extra overkill.]

[Why???]
I didn't realize you were skilled at trap-disarming, Kizakura-sensei.
no subject
[Yet he has pretty much no fighting skills. Oh well]

[She gives a soft sigh.]
Making traps like that sounds so... excessive.

[If Kizakura survives he's planning to return -- after the whole corruption thing is over here, of course]
Yes, I had thought that too. I don't understand yet why anyone would do that. It must be because despite everything I don't have the mind of a killer.
[...]
I'd do anything to protect Kyoko-chan except killing. I don't have it in me to kill an innocent person, to be honest. Or even a guilty one.

...Narumi-san and I...
Everything we did in our world was to try to prevent killing. No, more than that--
If we return home after killing... It would destroy everything we've worked towards.
no subject
Okay, enough about that. Why don't you tell me about your home? About what you and Narumi-san do that doesn't involve people dying.
no subject
Kizakura-sensei, that's a little bit difficult... After all, at home, Narumi-san and I were following a trail of murder cases to find the culprit and determine their motivations.
no subject
[That's kind of a depressing life]
no subject
It isn't very easy to avoid even in ordinary life.

[Because... three murders isn't worth closing school over or anything.]
But we're also very careful. Between my information and Narumi-san's sleuthing skills, we've managed pretty well so far!
no subject
What came first? Your passion for journalism or you having to gather information?
[Did you start making tabloids and stuff because you liked gathering information for Narumi or what?]
no subject
Oh, I was already part of the newspaper club long before I met Narumi-san. [Waving her hand.] The reason I met him was because he was framed for one of the murders. At the time it hadn't been solved yet, and he wasn't arrested since there wasn't very much evidence, so I thought it would be good to get an interview with the murderer.
[""Careful,"" she had said.]
