Week 4
Week 4
Sunday - Thursday
You've lost four in the past week—Machias, Vanitas, Natalia and Edna. Just in time for the fourth week to roll around, for those of you who are superstitious. But it really isn't like you could forget that death is a common occurrence in this castle, whether you believe in legends or not. Some of you might find solace in the chance to recuperate and move on, if you're still up for companionship with your fellow warriors.
Either way, dawn is soon upon the castle and like it or not, you will all have to face whatever comes this week.
Like before the pattern repeats itself, with new areas revealed for you to explore. It may be that something worth discovering lies in wait to be found, or you can simple enjoy the new additions for what they are. Distractions are most likely welcome, regardless of your feelings of the past week.

I don't know... Mar-Mar might be upset if I bring it back and he doesn't like what I've done...
[he definitely has like a million of these and also wouldn't care]

Okay. But—not too short, it's not like I'm going to wear it.
[is just carrying it around really any better]

[But she's standing, because now they're taking a trip to the sewing room.]

Because it's Mar-Mar's.

[She pauses a moment, considering what she wants to say, and promptly decides on yet another entirely useless explanation:] I just like having it.

[ppppause]
I like to.
[it's definitely a security blanket]
It reminds me of Mar-Mar, and I miss him.

. . . I had a bear like that once.
[Admittedly, she was five, not one thousand, but who's counting.]

[sorry for everything your centuries-old dragon daughter is, rosalind]

[She holds her hands out, demonstrating the size of a small stuffed bear.]
A companion children can latch onto.

[there we go]
And it reminded you of someone.

A bear doll is very different from a mom.
