Week 4

Week 4
Sunday - Thursday

You've lost four in the past week—Machias, Vanitas, Natalia and Edna. Just in time for the fourth week to roll around, for those of you who are superstitious. But it really isn't like you could forget that death is a common occurrence in this castle, whether you believe in legends or not. Some of you might find solace in the chance to recuperate and move on, if you're still up for companionship with your fellow warriors.

Either way, dawn is soon upon the castle and like it or not, you will all have to face whatever comes this week.

Like before the pattern repeats itself, with new areas revealed for you to explore. It may be that something worth discovering lies in wait to be found, or you can simple enjoy the new additions for what they are. Distractions are most likely welcome, regardless of your feelings of the past week.

SURVIVING WARRIORS: 21

Yeah. Kinda find it hard to relate to because if we're talking about power, I've only had to deal with the student council abusing their power and making us dance to pop music if we wanna keep our club together. Weird stuff like that. But murder is a new one.
originallutece: you have to DO things (talk; you can't just wish)

. . . I'm sorry, what?

[She lifts herself up off her table, frowning over at him as she takes another vial. Best to work together for a bit.]

What on earth kind of school do you go to?

The best school! We had witches and every day was a blast. The pop dancing ended up being pretty fun, too, though we lost the contest. [ which sucked, but their club stayed together so still a win. ] What, your school didn't have a corrupt student council? I kinda thought those were common.

[ there's one in every shoujo manga he's read, so there must be some truth to it! ]
originallutece: no wait yes i do I TOLD YOU SO (talk; i don't want to say i told you so)

I didn't go to school.

[Or, well, that's not true. She amends:]

I was tutored until university, and no, Girton didn't have anything approaching that. And while we had a few student representatives, I never had much to do with them.

Huh. Isn't that lonely?
originallutece: an eleven is speaking (talk; all right listen up fives)

[Very much so.]

It was necessary. And expected. I was indulged in going to university; most women didn't.

Uh, "necessary"... I mean, it's necessary that we vote someone off this island every week, but it's not good.

[ some of these acids and bases he remembers from school so he'll go ahead and add dubious notes. if he tried, he could probably organize most of them on his own, but what's the fun in that? ]

Though I guess you turned out pretty badass, so you ended up OK. What's the deal with women not going to university though? You mean, they weren't allowed or they didn't want to?
originallutece: the ojigi tried to eat the delivery boy again (talk; w e l p)

[She gives him a little look.]

My society, fortunately, did not have a policy of murdering two people per week.

[But MOVING ON:]

And it wasn't allowed, nor were they supposed to want to. But there were a few universities that opened despise that cultural expectation, and I attended one of them: Girton College, Cambridge's sister school.
