Week 4

Sunday - Thursday

You've lost four in the past week—Machias, Vanitas, Natalia and Edna. Just in time for the fourth week to roll around, for those of you who are superstitious. But it really isn't like you could forget that death is a common occurrence in this castle, whether you believe in legends or not. Some of you might find solace in the chance to recuperate and move on, if you're still up for companionship with your fellow warriors.

Either way, dawn is soon upon the castle and like it or not, you will all have to face whatever comes this week.

Like before the pattern repeats itself, with new areas revealed for you to explore. It may be that something worth discovering lies in wait to be found, or you can simple enjoy the new additions for what they are. Distractions are most likely welcome, regardless of your feelings of the past week.

[ Nodding! ] H-he knows! He told me not to do anything dangerous for him, ac-actually.

Well... he's right. You shouldn't do anything dangerous for him or for anyone else. You should take care of yourself first.

[Frowning just a tiny bit.]

But he has to have said more than just that, right?

... Are you worried about me? [ Breathes out, relieved. ] No, he wasn't trying to be rude, I just caught him off guard.

A little, maybe. If he's someone you're willing to die for, even in theory, at the very least I'd hope he wasn't a jerk to you.

[She breathes out, her tone a little more serious.]

A lot of people get taken advantage of when they have feelings like that. I just don't want to see it happening here, you know?

[hoodini]

[ Shaking his head. ] I appreciate the sentiment, I do! But Miyamura-kun isn't a threat to me or anyone else.

He would never kill anyone here—and he would never ask me to scapegoat for him either.

[gyakusatsu]

["Never" isn't really a word she'd use in a place like this to describe anyone's capabilities, but that's a thought she'll keep to herself. Instead, she'll seem somewhat surprised at the name reveal because uh....]

...I suppose it's hard to imagine a kid who has women's underwear blatantly listed on his likes morph into a killer.

[A beat as she lightens up considerably.]

For a moment there, I thought you were talking about Mahiro-kun.

F-Fuwa?! [ Thinkin' back for a second. She didn't see them kiss on their first day here, did she? Please to not mind his blush. ] N-no, not him.

He had a bit of a strange reaction when I brought up your name a couple of weeks ago that he refused to talk about. Then you recently defended him when Majima-san got terse during the trial over his manners.

[A beat.]

Care to connect some dots here for me?

[ Gulp! ]

He did...? Uh, well. I doubt it meant anything. He disliked me for a while, j-just for a while! We've worked things out since then.

[ And now they fling fake spiders and paper airplanes at each other, nbd. ]

[She raises an eyebrow.]

Really? That's not what he said about it. If anything, he was pretty adamant that he didn't dislike you.

[ Guh!? ] A-adamant?

Adamant. He denied having any kind of ill-will or grudges towards you repeatedly.

[A beat.]

So... something like a love triangle?

[It's teasing; she doesn't actually think this. But as long asJin's reactions are doing most of the talking, she's listening... so to speak.]

N-no! No way!! I have Miyamura-kun! [ Mahiro is going have to deal with rejection??? ]

N-not that he's unattractive. He's got a nice face, and once you get to know him his personality isn't that bad...

But Miyamura-kun is better. Way better.

[gyakusatsu]

[... Oh. Misora does her best to hide a smile behind her hand, but it remains fairly obvious that she's amused.]

So something really did happen between you and Mahiro-kun, huh.

[She moves her hand away from her face and by then she's a little less jokey. Not by a lot, but it's toned down a pinch.]

Well, I agree with you that he's a better person than he advertises himself as being, so I hope it wasn't anything serious at least.

[ He promised he wouldn't tell, forgive him Mahiro!! She's a witch, she weaseled it out of him! ]

N-not a lot! I— [ Clamps his mouth shut and then coughs into his hand and sparkles. ] It wasn't! [ Yeah, Mahiro, it wasn't a serious kiss or anything. Gosh. ]

[Shhhh, it's okay! Mahiro may never found out!! ..Maybe.]

Not a lot..? [She repeats this with a laugh.] What does that mean, huh?

[Kids these days man! In the 1900's holding hands would've been not a lot. Now...? Misora's not too sure.]

U-uh... I— [ Wait, no, shit. HE'S GOT THIS! This much should be safe to say! Unless Miyamura tattled. ] I tried to use my witch power on him!
