Week 4

Sunday - Thursday

You've lost four in the past week—Machias, Vanitas, Natalia and Edna. Just in time for the fourth week to roll around, for those of you who are superstitious. But it really isn't like you could forget that death is a common occurrence in this castle, whether you believe in legends or not. Some of you might find solace in the chance to recuperate and move on, if you're still up for companionship with your fellow warriors.

Either way, dawn is soon upon the castle and like it or not, you will all have to face whatever comes this week.

Like before the pattern repeats itself, with new areas revealed for you to explore. It may be that something worth discovering lies in wait to be found, or you can simple enjoy the new additions for what they are. Distractions are most likely welcome, regardless of your feelings of the past week.

After sputtering for a few moments, Hanyuu sighs. An old grandma but she still acts like a kid...and it wasn't out of character for a kid to do something like that. And it was way better than sticking thumbtacks in the door handle or dropping a full bucket of water on her head. ]

Did you give these to everyone who walked in?

[SHE LOOKS SO UPSET, SHE'S NOT SNEAKY??? she's a good girl she loves hanyuu how dare]

[ oh no don't give her that look. WILL......CRUMBLING.......

Hanyuu sighs and pats her on the head. ]

...it's a nice gesture. But someone might be mad if they pick a bad flavor, and find out that you knew they were in there. Okay?

Oh. Okay. I'll be more careful. [A pause, thoughtful.] Makky and I each ate a whole handful at once before.

[sorry for your daughter, hanyuu]

Y-You didn't get sick, did you...?

No. [and, upon realizing Hanyuu's distress, she clarifies:] It was Makky's idea.

[ goddammit mako. she briefly considers confronting him about it but no, that's a bit much. ]

...well, I admit, I'm curious. How bad did an entire handful taste?

[she shouldn't because it was only really kind of mako's idea. it's still her fault]

Worse than vegetables.

Ah, you're the type who hates vegetables, too...

[ a little laugh ]

I imagine there's some vegetable-flavored beans in the bag, so that probably contributed.

[nod nod!!!] Yeah. Ban-Ban used to make pickled vegetables, and they were good, but only those.

Ban-Ban? [ ... ] Oh, one of your friends from home.

What sort of things did he make? Getting a few new ideas might be nice. [ and also knowing things tiki likes to eat is helpful ]

All kinds! Ban-Ban would pickle a whole bunch at once, so I'd have a lot to eat... I really like the ones that look like little trees. [she doesn't even know what vegetables are called??? darling] ...Only the ones Ban-Ban pickles, though. No one else cooks them right.

Oh, I think you're talking about broccoli. They're also fairly good when you eat them with melted cheese, though that's a bit less healthy than what I normally cook...

If you think his cooking cannot be matched up to, though, that is fine, heh heh.
