ain't no party like a murdergame afterparty, cw: some mentions of alcohol
[--cuz a murdergame afterparty is horrifying and sad and possibly a little threatening if Mahiro insists on bringing his gun with him, please don't do that buddy.
Honestly, guys, we're running out of cooks at this rate. But it's nice to gather after horrifying events, and so while Rosalind's cooking skills are absolutely terrible, her alcohol-pouring skills are a little better. Come have a glass of wine or three and ruminate on the fact that there's only fourteen of us left.]

I just wanna take care of myself for one night. At least. Is that so wrong?

[She stands up on the bed (she hasn't taken her shoes off, because apparently she was raised in a barn) and walks over to the other side so she can lean her hands on the headboard and look right at Elliot.]
And...you really don't think it's a bad idea, to be all by yourself right now? That's really, really, really what you really want?
[There's a genuine curiosity to the way she asks it; it isn't a judgement, but she wants an honest answer. A thousand years of isolation later, she can't imagine anyone seeking it out. She can't leave her friend alone if she thinks it's at all a cruelty.]

I don't know if it's a good idea, but I know it's what I want right now. I can always change my mind once people are up and at 'em tomorrow morning.
[He's pretty sure he'll owe them an apology if he does, but that's fine. The point is that he can't imagine them refusing him if he does change his mind - and, in a way, it's nice knowing he has that security with them.
All the more reason to try to keep himself away from them.]

[She frowns pretty intensely for a couple of moments, but so long as she's at this side of the bed instead, she's reaching over to pull Elliot into the best hug she can manage with the headboard in the way. There has to be some problem in the way if she's taken care of the height issue that makes hugs hard??]
I don't really understand, but...I really just want you to be happy.

death flaghug. That is a thing that's happening right now. He freezes in confusion for a second, but eventually, he hugs her back.]...Thanks, Tiki. I don't know how well I'm actually gonna do with that, in a place like this. I don't wanna make any promises to you I can't keep. [Because promises have meant a lot, here, especially to him.] But it means a lot to hear you say it.

Okay. Promise this instead, then. [She pulls back a little, keeping her hands on Elliot's shoulders, admittedly largely for balance, but it makes a great dramatic effect when she looks right at him.] If you're sad all by yourself, you'll go make sure you're not all by yourself anymore. [It's faint, but she smiles.] We can go play a game together or you can play me a song if you don't know what to do, okay?
no subject
All right. That's a promise I can keep, I think.
You're with Hanyuu now, right?

Thanks, Tiki.

[She lets Elliot go, jumps up in place, and lets herself fall on her butt on his bed so she bounces a couple of times before she actually gets back down on the floor.]
...Wouldn't it be easier just to carry the mattress?
[like. elli darling. you're such a weenie]

But I've already come this far, now I kinda feel like I gotta see it through...
[it's too late to abort mission!!]
