Week 4
Week 4
Sunday - Thursday
You've lost four in the past week—Machias, Vanitas, Natalia and Edna. Just in time for the fourth week to roll around, for those of you who are superstitious. But it really isn't like you could forget that death is a common occurrence in this castle, whether you believe in legends or not. Some of you might find solace in the chance to recuperate and move on, if you're still up for companionship with your fellow warriors.
Either way, dawn is soon upon the castle and like it or not, you will all have to face whatever comes this week.
Like before the pattern repeats itself, with new areas revealed for you to explore. It may be that something worth discovering lies in wait to be found, or you can simple enjoy the new additions for what they are. Distractions are most likely welcome, regardless of your feelings of the past week.

Yep! Said I'd make it one of these days, so here I am.

First breakfast and now this, huh? What was that you said a couple of days ago... something about not wanting people to go out of their way for you....?
[Keeping the teasing in check a little, she continues.]
In all seriousness, if you really don't feel comfortable about this, you don't have to be here.

[He shakes his head.]
I don't want my life to be entirely music. Hard as it was, I learned a lot of really important things from what I did at Thors, and I don't really wanna give that up.
I had intended to just keep practicing with my orbal staff, but this is as good of an option as any.

What's an orbal staff though?
no subject
It's a long staff that fires balls of magic energy and that helps channel arts.
[Read: "I am a squishy wizard."]

[...Pretty much what she got out of it, anyway. But more to the point:]
You don't actually use the staff itself to attack or block though, right?
[She's trying to work out if he may be better using a mid-range weapon in training if so, though she doubts Elliot used his staff as anything other than a long range magical weapon.]
no subject
Not unless I have to, no. It's not like it's gonna crumple or anything, but it's really not built for melee. [and neither is he]
