Week 6

Sunday - Thursday

Another week of misfortune has passed by and while the end result is that there won't be any issues to anyone's existence being altered for the worst, it doesn't mean anyone's celebrating. If anything, the stressful machinations of the recent trial would require some of you to have someone champion some sort of recuperation amongst you in an attempt to relieve the strain. Whether or not its entirely successful in doing so is up to each individual. After all, there are some of you who are naturally able to endure more than others.

There's not even much time for that before the dawn of the next week is upon the castle. As it comes, everything seems quiet, which is understandable, considering that five lives were lost in the previous week.

Of course, the next best thing to focus on would be what's been newly revealed within the castle. It'll help most of you get your mind off of the current situation to an extent—distractions have a way of making that possible. Presuming, by chance, you do find yourself taking a peek at the sakura tree, you'll notice that the buds have started to finally open up. Is it time for spring at last? If so, you might find yourself wishing that the season would suddenly find itself on hold.

[Well, at least someone seems already back to being more like himself after the whole thing with the motive, but Jansen has brought a bottle of alcohol with him to this and is sipping at it. Probably because he's expecting at least a couple of people to react badly to him blurting out his own secret like that and this way he won't care so much.]

Well, obviously my secret doesn't matter anymore. And I haven't found a key either.

[ Hi Jansen, is alcohol supposed to be bubbley? It probably isn't unless you're drinking champagne. ]

[He's so not the champagne sort. He's just drinking a not too strong type of rum because he needed something stronger than beer.]

Whoa, since when does this stuff get all fizzy?

[Now he's looking funny at the contents of the bottle.]

[ The bubbles are foaming? They're foaming, like it's urgent. You might want to pour the rum into something where it's easier to see rather than staring down the neck of a bottle. ]

[Well, he's not wasting good alcohol, so hopefully there's a glass or bowl nearby to pour into and he'll do just that.]

Sheesh, this place won't even let a man drink in peace anymore.

[ ah?? ]

It's probably Emperor, huh? Hurry up an' pour it into somethin'!

Must be really urgent if he appeared in booze. Next time we'll hold the meeting at the bathhouse, for his convenience.

I don't suppose any of you have seen any pearls around, have you?

[ Nishitani jumps up like, oh!! Oh, he knows this!! He reaches into his pocket produces A PEARL! ]
