week 6
Week 6
Sunday - Thursday
Another week of misfortune has passed by and while the end result is that there won't be any issues to anyone's existence being altered for the worst, it doesn't mean anyone's celebrating. If anything, the stressful machinations of the recent trial would require some of you to have someone champion some sort of recuperation amongst you in an attempt to relieve the strain. Whether or not its entirely successful in doing so is up to each individual. After all, there are some of you who are naturally able to endure more than others.
There's not even much time for that before the dawn of the next week is upon the castle. As it comes, everything seems quiet, which is understandable, considering that five lives were lost in the previous week.
Of course, the next best thing to focus on would be what's been newly revealed within the castle. It'll help most of you get your mind off of the current situation to an extent—distractions have a way of making that possible. Presuming, by chance, you do find yourself taking a peek at the sakura tree, you'll notice that the buds have started to finally open up. Is it time for spring at last? If so, you might find yourself wishing that the season would suddenly find itself on hold.

Re: Infirmary
Ayumu does wake up at the flick at leash, and none too happily, grimacing and groaning and looking all sorts of displeased.]
Who's--
[...Where in the world is he??? He stares up at Mahiro, surprise clear on his face.]
Fuwa....?
no subject
[Did you learn nothingggggggg]
no subject
[He's bullshitting-- Mahiro can probably tell from how pale he looks.]
no subject
[Squints... yeah, it's those dizzy spells again huh.]
If this is gonna keep happening though, you should just stay in your room and read or something.
no subject
[Siiiigh.]
And I'm not going to just sit around when all our lives are at risk. That's foolish. I'm determined to get home.

no subject
[He sounds... frustrated, honestly.]
no subject
If you do, then think of a better way to handle this.
no subject
[But it wasn't that easy. This wasn't going to get better, only worse....]
no subject
Even if you wanna keep it secret, we still have a doctor here, you know. Get yourself checked out.
[Granted Georik is still kind of behind on the times but. Better than nothing.]
no subject
[He didn't think Georik could fix this.]
Alright. I don't think he can fix what's wrong, but I'll speak to him.

no subject
[Maybe, anyway. He didn't like how many people were becoming aware of this, to be honest.]
no subject
You planning on staying here for now or what?
no subject
[It's awkward to admit, but he's too weak and dizzy to leave the room right now, unfortunately.]
no subject
It's Hamlet, because of course it is.]
Here. If you get bored.
no subject
really.
You have to go and bring your dramatic taste in literature to him when he's trying not to fall asleep.]
Really? Hamlet....? I should have known.
no subject
...Actually in all honesty even he doesn't really like it much, but you know. He knows that shit by heart by now so it's not like he needs the book.]
I just got it from the pond. It's not like I asked for it.
[Let him fob this off onto someone okay.]
no subject
[Ugh.]
Don't you have something more entertaining? Have you found any good cookbooks?
[......]
no subject
Cookbooks.
[...
Well he was reading one that one time too, but he figured that was just a one time thing???]
You studying to be a housewife or what?
no subject
[Deadpan.]
I like to try making new dishes. There's also the fact that different recipe books often have minor variations on the same basic recipe, which can provide new insight into the possibilities of those dishes. It's fascinating, really.
[Gosh he's a 40 year old man in a 16 year old's body.]
no subject
[Like right now. Why?? Maybe with a pink apron too...]
At least it's a useful hobby, but this sounds like it's verging on obsession.
no subject
[SQUINT. Mahiro are you trying to dig at him.]
It's a hobby. And it gets boring to make the same things all the time when you do all the cooking.
no subject
[Enjoy that mental image of yourself, Ayumu.]
Yeah, but you don't need to read cookbooks to just make variations of the same recipe.
[Do it by taste!!! Or something. That's what a real expert does right...]
no subject
[Mahiro why.]
Well of course not, but it's interesting to see what others come up with.
