week 6

Week 6
Sunday - Thursday

Another week of misfortune has passed by and while the end result is that there won't be any issues to anyone's existence being altered for the worst, it doesn't mean anyone's celebrating. If anything, the stressful machinations of the recent trial would require some of you to have someone champion some sort of recuperation amongst you in an attempt to relieve the strain. Whether or not its entirely successful in doing so is up to each individual. After all, there are some of you who are naturally able to endure more than others.

There's not even much time for that before the dawn of the next week is upon the castle. As it comes, everything seems quiet, which is understandable, considering that five lives were lost in the previous week.

Of course, the next best thing to focus on would be what's been newly revealed within the castle. It'll help most of you get your mind off of the current situation to an extent—distractions have a way of making that possible. Presuming, by chance, you do find yourself taking a peek at the sakura tree, you'll notice that the buds have started to finally open up. Is it time for spring at last? If so, you might find yourself wishing that the season would suddenly find itself on hold.

originallutece: and STILL able to argue better than you (talk; look at me with my shirt half off)

To say the least. A friend of yours?

More like a...troublesome coworker. Technically, he's the one who caused my death.

[He thinks. Even though he's not really bothered by that, he doesn't feel like talking about it, so he tries to divert the conversation in another direction]

You never had someone like that? Someone who you didn't really like, but you had to keep around because they were useful?
originallutece: awful tough lately (talk; you've been acting)

[It's an obvious misdirection, but Rosalind doesn't mind taking it, not on the heels of that.

Actually, it makes her huff a laugh.]

Yes. I was obligated to him for a time, and so I kept him around until my debt was fulfilled.

A debt? [That gets his attention. Must have been a really important debt, did he save your life or something?] What kind of debt? I'm curious, but you don't have to tell me.
originallutece: without you bleeding out jesus christ (robert; can we have one nice day)

[She pauses for a few seconds. It wouldn't be the most horrid thing in the world if this got out, but nor does she want to share it at the drop of the hat. Finally:]

My Robert and I made a deal with a man named Booker DeWitt that had . . . adverse results. Robert felt obligated to right our wrongs, but it took us a great deal of time, and so we spent a great deal of time with Booker.
