week 6
Week 6
Sunday - Thursday
Another week of misfortune has passed by and while the end result is that there won't be any issues to anyone's existence being altered for the worst, it doesn't mean anyone's celebrating. If anything, the stressful machinations of the recent trial would require some of you to have someone champion some sort of recuperation amongst you in an attempt to relieve the strain. Whether or not its entirely successful in doing so is up to each individual. After all, there are some of you who are naturally able to endure more than others.
There's not even much time for that before the dawn of the next week is upon the castle. As it comes, everything seems quiet, which is understandable, considering that five lives were lost in the previous week.
Of course, the next best thing to focus on would be what's been newly revealed within the castle. It'll help most of you get your mind off of the current situation to an extent—distractions have a way of making that possible. Presuming, by chance, you do find yourself taking a peek at the sakura tree, you'll notice that the buds have started to finally open up. Is it time for spring at last? If so, you might find yourself wishing that the season would suddenly find itself on hold.

[And off to fetch the chairs to sit properly.]

It's just that there's a place like this at home. It's where the divine dragon tribe's treasures are kept, and humans use it as a place of worship for my parent sometimes...
[parent, singular. you'd think that's a typo but no]
I haven't been there in a very long time, though.

[She doesn't miss the odd wording, a small frown of confusion on her face.]

Lord Gotoh last remembered Naga as male, I think.
[they have a shrine where humans worship them is gender the greatest most unreasonable concern here]
no subject
So the Naga is... your parent?
[Singular???]
no subject
[they're WORSHIPED AS A GOD and we are THAT CONCERNED ABOUT DRAGON GENDER FLUIDITY]
no subject
[She's learning all kinds of things about dragons, apparently.]
Then are you also a Naga, or...?
no subject
Naga was their name. We're both divine dragons.

I see...
Ahh, I'm sorry Tiki-chan. I'm not very good at this, am I?
[But it's very softly said, unlike with the others. Were it anyone else, she'd be whining loudly and obnoxiously, but there's no need to play up the dramatics when it comes to Tiki.]

[She reaches over and just kind of gently pats Hiyono's hand...]
Even if you ask lots of questions, I like that you always listen to me.
no subject
[It's hard to stay upset for long with a face like that looking up at you.]
Okay, so... Naga-san's your parent, and also worshiped as a god?

[There's another unfamiliar word.]
Sorry, but what's a Fane?
no subject
[that's. not a real answer but it's the one she has]
no subject
We must be from very different worlds. I don't think I've ever heard of a place like that.
