week 6

Week 6
Sunday - Thursday

Another week of misfortune has passed by and while the end result is that there won't be any issues to anyone's existence being altered for the worst, it doesn't mean anyone's celebrating. If anything, the stressful machinations of the recent trial would require some of you to have someone champion some sort of recuperation amongst you in an attempt to relieve the strain. Whether or not its entirely successful in doing so is up to each individual. After all, there are some of you who are naturally able to endure more than others.

There's not even much time for that before the dawn of the next week is upon the castle. As it comes, everything seems quiet, which is understandable, considering that five lives were lost in the previous week.

Of course, the next best thing to focus on would be what's been newly revealed within the castle. It'll help most of you get your mind off of the current situation to an extent—distractions have a way of making that possible. Presuming, by chance, you do find yourself taking a peek at the sakura tree, you'll notice that the buds have started to finally open up. Is it time for spring at last? If so, you might find yourself wishing that the season would suddenly find itself on hold.

Oh... How do you know that?

[i probably missed something but honestly tiki is small and dumb so she'd have missed it too it's fine]
pseudoregelia: (lonely.)

Well, if you talk with them enough, they'll tell you things.

...Even if you have to play twenty questions to get it.

Oh. And you heard that from the Sage...?

[She shakes her head.]

Teishu-san. He's definitely unhappy to be here.

Sorry to get into the conversation, but I'm pretty sure it's the truth.

[Kizakura has heard stuff too]
presomnia: (and i'll let this go; keep it to myself)

[personal profile] presomnia 2017-09-07 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
[It's good to hear it from a couple of sources, actually? Tiki tilts her head just so, but she nods, apparently content.]
pseudoregelia: (it's so lonely.)

I'm reasonably sure. If they lie, I believe it will be a lie of omission - that is to say, explaining things in a way that leaves out the important part.

Teishu-san made it clear that he's divine, but it's both correct and incorrect to refer to Sage-san as divine And as we've seen, Sage-san is also capable of falling ill, whereas Teishu-san is not.

...that sounds an awful lot like the Sage is merely some kind of wizard, and the Teishu is a powerful spirit he captured unwillingly. It's difficult, but possible--especially if you know the spirit's true name, as Ayumu suggested.
pseudoregelia: (and yet)

I'm inclined to agree with him [of course], but either way we need to be on the lookout for names. It'll help if we can get more information out of them, too...
