Week 6

Sunday - Thursday

Another week of misfortune has passed by and while the end result is that there won't be any issues to anyone's existence being altered for the worst, it doesn't mean anyone's celebrating. If anything, the stressful machinations of the recent trial would require some of you to have someone champion some sort of recuperation amongst you in an attempt to relieve the strain. Whether or not its entirely successful in doing so is up to each individual. After all, there are some of you who are naturally able to endure more than others.

There's not even much time for that before the dawn of the next week is upon the castle. As it comes, everything seems quiet, which is understandable, considering that five lives were lost in the previous week.

Of course, the next best thing to focus on would be what's been newly revealed within the castle. It'll help most of you get your mind off of the current situation to an extent—distractions have a way of making that possible. Presuming, by chance, you do find yourself taking a peek at the sakura tree, you'll notice that the buds have started to finally open up. Is it time for spring at last? If so, you might find yourself wishing that the season would suddenly find itself on hold.

I think it's just something to be expected in a castle, though. Not that anything here is normal, but if anything, I guess I'm just surprised that wasn't open when we first got here.

Kinda feels like one more reminder that people like us who hate this kind of thing are outnumbered, here. ...More a slap in the face than a reminder.

[It's nice to have Elliot agree with her, at least, but it isn't especially assuaging her frustration that all of these are just here and out in the open and there's nothing to be done for it.

There are too many to even hide or destroy... I'm tired of it, Elli.

...Honestly, even if we could somehow destroy 'em, I think that'd probably get us in trouble for vandalism. I guess we could try to hide some of the nastier-looking ones, but where would we even hide them? My room's bursting at the seams as-is...

Probably... [SIIIIIGH] I don't use the room I've got the key for, but... It's no good, anyway. It's useless if there's still lots of them left. [HUFFS] And poisons, and knives, and weapons from the pond...
