week 6

Week 6
Sunday - Thursday

Another week of misfortune has passed by and while the end result is that there won't be any issues to anyone's existence being altered for the worst, it doesn't mean anyone's celebrating. If anything, the stressful machinations of the recent trial would require some of you to have someone champion some sort of recuperation amongst you in an attempt to relieve the strain. Whether or not its entirely successful in doing so is up to each individual. After all, there are some of you who are naturally able to endure more than others.

There's not even much time for that before the dawn of the next week is upon the castle. As it comes, everything seems quiet, which is understandable, considering that five lives were lost in the previous week.

Of course, the next best thing to focus on would be what's been newly revealed within the castle. It'll help most of you get your mind off of the current situation to an extent—distractions have a way of making that possible. Presuming, by chance, you do find yourself taking a peek at the sakura tree, you'll notice that the buds have started to finally open up. Is it time for spring at last? If so, you might find yourself wishing that the season would suddenly find itself on hold.

originallutece: not of you booker it's never of you (happy; reluctantly fond)

[It's not so hard to find the new reading material. Rosalind skims it, and then rereads it as she notices her name. But oh, this is-- and there's really no other word for it-- cute. Cute and sweet, and though she isn't smiling, there's something lighter in her gaze.]

I rather like that I'm still aloof.

[She calls it out to the figure so obviously engrossed in her romance novels.]
pseudoregelia: (and yet)

[Hiyono peers up from behind her book that she's very definitely reading.]

It's a cute little story, isn't it? I must say the characterization isn't bad, either.

[Hiyono............ why do you even bother.]
originallutece: A+ joke would bark out a laugh again (happy; HAH)

[personal profile] originallutece 2017-09-08 12:36 am (UTC)(link)
[Why the farce, Hiyono. Why. Very dryly:]

My compliments to the author. What will she write next, I wonder.
pseudoregelia: (But it's still painful)

Actually, I recently started hoping for a crime drama starring two intelligent women busting crime in... Ohhh, let's say Tokyo, gradually becoming more and more involved in the criminal underground as their morals - or lack thereof - are tested time and time again!

originallutece: would be what they'd call this emotion if i was 12 (happy; delightfully impudent)

[personal profile] originallutece 2017-09-08 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
[It honestly takes her a second.]

. . . well. I'd certainly read it. Though I'm curious: how precisely does it end? Do they develop and maintain their morals or succumb to the criminal underworld?
pseudoregelia: (just to probe curiosity)

[personal profile] pseudoregelia 2017-09-08 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, there's one who has higher interests than morality, but the more straight-laced one learns to fully respect her opponents and their craftiness.

Of course, there's a certain allure to flirting with the darker side, too!

[Of course.]
originallutece: they say i'm a control freak (talk; baby nothing comes for free)

[personal profile] originallutece 2017-09-08 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
[NARROWS EYES]

In a certain sense of the word, I suppose, yes.
pseudoregelia: (I'll be your sky)

[personal profile] pseudoregelia 2017-09-10 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
I meant as in actually flirting with them.

[Really not sure what you're expecting out of her at this point, Ros.]
pseudoregelia: (I'm going to hold)

[personal profile] pseudoregelia 2017-09-10 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
Eh?! What's wrong with that?
originallutece: you're literally lowering everyone's IQ every time you open your mouth (anger; please don't ever speak again)

[personal profile] originallutece 2017-09-10 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
We're not going down this road, Hiyono.

[Bad enough Majima mentioned the threesome out loud, she's not going to add fuel to the fire.]
pseudoregelia: (How come you)

[personal profile] pseudoregelia 2017-09-10 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
Why not?

[IT KEEPS THINGS INTERESTING, ROS!]
originallutece: the ojigi tried to eat the delivery boy again (talk; w e l p)

[personal profile] originallutece 2017-09-10 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
Because what I do or do not in the privacy of my bedroom is no one's business but my own and my partners.
pseudoregelia: (I'm going to hold)

[personal profile] pseudoregelia 2017-09-10 05:15 am (UTC)(link)
I never said it was about you!

[It's totally about Ros.]
originallutece: even in the bath okay sometimes you get good ideas in the bath!! (talk; science at any cost)

[personal profile] originallutece 2017-09-10 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
That's an even flimsier lie than you pretending you aren't the author of these little stories.
pseudoregelia: (away from me)

[personal profile] pseudoregelia 2017-09-10 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
[Hmmmgh.]

Hanyuu-san doesn't really fit the image I'm going for, though...
originallutece: do as I say (talk; don't do as you will)

[personal profile] originallutece 2017-09-10 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
And what image is that?
pseudoregelia: (with more room to fly)

[personal profile] pseudoregelia 2017-09-10 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you know.

Tough. Hardened. Something like that.

[Gomen Hanyuu...]
originallutece: you have to DO things (talk; you can't just wish)

[personal profile] originallutece 2017-09-10 05:37 pm (UTC)(link)
[BURNED]

You--

[Wait, no, not gonna say that and give her another bit of hope. Rosalind wrinkles her nose.]

. . . you hardly need to base it all in reality.
pseudoregelia: (But it's still painful)

[personal profile] pseudoregelia 2017-09-11 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
Of course not! That's why the flames of passion can burn so brightly in the world of fiction!
