Week 6

Sunday - Thursday

Another week of misfortune has passed by and while the end result is that there won't be any issues to anyone's existence being altered for the worst, it doesn't mean anyone's celebrating. If anything, the stressful machinations of the recent trial would require some of you to have someone champion some sort of recuperation amongst you in an attempt to relieve the strain. Whether or not its entirely successful in doing so is up to each individual. After all, there are some of you who are naturally able to endure more than others.

There's not even much time for that before the dawn of the next week is upon the castle. As it comes, everything seems quiet, which is understandable, considering that five lives were lost in the previous week.

Of course, the next best thing to focus on would be what's been newly revealed within the castle. It'll help most of you get your mind off of the current situation to an extent—distractions have a way of making that possible. Presuming, by chance, you do find yourself taking a peek at the sakura tree, you'll notice that the buds have started to finally open up. Is it time for spring at last? If so, you might find yourself wishing that the season would suddenly find itself on hold.

[ ...okay, maybe Tiki was right. Maybe she did bake too much last night. Because come breakfast time, Hanyuu is struggling to find where, exactly, she left all the breakfast items she made last night in the sea of baked goods, curry, and soup.

If she sees anyone coming in, she'll hold out a small basket of nonperishable items. Cookies, maybe a pie slice, et cetera. ]

Au au, please take this. I made...a little too much food last night. Consider it a gift.

[ Did someone say swords

Because as soon as she's done with Kitchenquest, she's heading straight to the armory. There are so many weapons. Considering she enjoys spending time in the Furude family's torture tool shed because it reminds her of home, she has no qualms about spending extended time hanging out in a room full of deadly weapons. Mainly she's hanging out around the swords, and after surveying what's there, she takes a single katana with her.

When she's done with that, though, she's gonna take a look around to see if she can find anything else of interest. She'll look at the rest of the swords first, and then the large weapons. ]

[ Sharp, pointy objects are also a favorite of Nishitani's. Once he hears about the armory, he's more than happy to have a look around and grab himself a better knife than the crap he's been carrying. A kitchen knife doesn't hold a candle to something real, after all, he's just having a little trouble deciding... ]

[ She rolls the words around in her head for a minute. How does she even begin to explain what her old job was. ]

I would not say it was "cool" precisely, but...I did use them, yes. I suppose in very simple terms, you could say that I used to be a variety of bounty hunter.

Hey, better this than other ways to pass the time. I heard some nutcase started drawing on the walls with chalk, wearing a horse mask and all. That person must have been really bored, eh?

[Although now he's imagining Hanyuu doing that and he finds it kind of hilarious]

[ also she thinks she knows his sense of humor by now. would he run around wearing a horse mask to fuck with people, probably!! ]

I don't know if I should feel flattered or offended you think I'd draw on walls while wearing a horse mask!

[ There's nothing notable about the large weapons in particular. Though, she'll find that if she's looking for Japanese-styled swords, she wouldn't be lacking in choices. After all, there's a good selection of tachi, oodachi, naginata, tantou and wakizashi.

Other than that there's nothing really notable or off about anything here. ]

[ Just the sword collection, or the armory in general? If the former, she'll go rifle through the shields and bows including the arrow barrel. ]

Nothing else is going on in here, including with the shields or bows that'd be notable (they look like your normal everyday shields and bows.) ]

[ Hey now she's not nuts about using them, she's just the type to take the entire armory and hang it up in her room. WEAPONS LOOK REALLY COOL, OKAY. IF SHE HAD ANY SAY ABOUT THE DECOR OF RIKA'S HOUSE, THERE WOULD BE SWORDS EVERYWHERE. ]

I appreciate their aesthetic, mostly, aha. And it makes me feel nostalgic for my younger years, so I suppose it's a combination of the two.

I used to use a sword in combat. It was one of the few tokens I had of my mother, so it is a bit special to me.
