week 6
Week 6
Sunday - Thursday
Another week of misfortune has passed by and while the end result is that there won't be any issues to anyone's existence being altered for the worst, it doesn't mean anyone's celebrating. If anything, the stressful machinations of the recent trial would require some of you to have someone champion some sort of recuperation amongst you in an attempt to relieve the strain. Whether or not its entirely successful in doing so is up to each individual. After all, there are some of you who are naturally able to endure more than others.
There's not even much time for that before the dawn of the next week is upon the castle. As it comes, everything seems quiet, which is understandable, considering that five lives were lost in the previous week.
Of course, the next best thing to focus on would be what's been newly revealed within the castle. It'll help most of you get your mind off of the current situation to an extent—distractions have a way of making that possible. Presuming, by chance, you do find yourself taking a peek at the sakura tree, you'll notice that the buds have started to finally open up. Is it time for spring at last? If so, you might find yourself wishing that the season would suddenly find itself on hold.

You can contact the sage with your pendants here, and the teishu here.)

Here. That's what we came up with so far. The most we're probably certain on is for people with onyx pendants.

I'm sure you've noticed the history section contains mainly texts from the Heian to Edo period by now.

I'm the one who made the list.
[Surprise!]

It was breakfast during the first week.
[Yes these crafty brats actually did this while playing nice with everyone.]
Some people wear them under their shirts.

[Aaaaand he'll scribble something on the back of the original page akin to this although Ayumu will notice that huh. The list is more complete than what he might've remembered last.]
There was also something that happened to me and Lutece on Wednesday when Eizen broke his pendant. We both felt a lot more motivated, so it looks like whatever these things are, they connect us to whoever's wearing the same colors as us too.

[Another thought though...]
We thought it could've just exaggerated the trait we were given these for, but I don't know enough about gemstone symbolism to say anything more than that.

Unless I got lied to, breaking 'em or taking them off's not a good idea, because we'll get corrupted.

Motivated....?
no subject
Yeah. I felt pretty focused on what I was doing; like I just had to get things done no matter what.
[It wasn't strictly negative but honestly... he may have been more irritable then too? Not that he'd necessarily admit it...]

I also wonder if the specific stones have their own meanings aside from their color? For example, Opals are considered bad luck and Sapphires are said to ward off liars, we have a mixture of precious and semi-precious stones in our pendants.
The color seems to be the most important part, but there might be a reason to pick say a Ruby over a Garnet, and a Malachite over Emerald.

Yeah, that's something to consider too but I don't know enough about gemstone meanings to interpret these. So unless someone else here can speak up about it, we're stuck with the books in the library.

Tell us what you've got, then.

[He rubs his chin, closing his eyes as he draws up the memory]
Rubies are stones associated with the sun, fire, and passion, Topaz with the golden hue has meaning with the earth, empathy, and stability, Onyx wards off curses such as the evil eye and it's said to promote wisdom, and self-improvement... Diamonds are too rare to be used in fortune-telling. I haven't heard Lillith mentioning Aquamarines or Malachites.
